He's a really great guy and everything but I just can't get past the fact that he's cheated before.He says he regrets it imensely but that really doesn't mean all that much.If you really love someone,is there ever a valid excuse for cheating?Would you be able to get past it?

YOU WOULDN'T.. You would have enough RESPECT for yourself to not be PATHETIC enough to stay with someone who has just HURT YOU!!!!!!! ok didn't see that last detail... well there could be a good chance that he has learned from his mistake with his last girlfriend but if it happens to you then the above statement of what I just said applies very much for that...

I am sorry to hear of your trouble. This is horrible particularly when you forgave and reached a place of trust again. He seems unable to not seek admiration from other women. I have known similar and was faced with the he could not see what he had done scenario. Your husband is at least admitting his behaviour is wrong. Sadly I do not see him being able to change. You only have his word that he has not gone further with another woman in the last while. If you doubt his word which I think I would then really the end of the road is in sight. You have been more than decent to him and quite frankly he does not deserve someone like you. He will perhaps realise that when he embarks on a series of shallow meaningless relationships which he is poised to do. He probably will whatever you decide. He has a sickness.

i thinnk you know the answer to you own question, you cant get over his cheating and maybe you never will. there is no valid excuse for cheating and i think if you forgive him and say its ok he will for sure do it again. thats how men are, they do wat they want and then plead to get back wat they think they will lose. you are not his boxing bag hanging around for his convenience, you are an independent self respecting woman that does not need rubbish like that. you will always be suspicious and you will never trully be happy. sometimes you reach a point where yu have to spring clean you life, for your own well being. when you have a toxic person in your life you are gonna feel drained and be an emtional wreck. you dont need a man to make you happy especially one whos cheated on you. no one is irreplaceable, thers so many good men out ther, put out the trash and see wats blossoming in your garden. get out and smell all the fresh flowers. youll be ok, just out yourself first and be happy. you are all that matters so look out for yourself

That's really up to you. I would say no but hey if I have a girl that cheated on me and I still have feelings for her than I give her another chance.

if he cheated b4 whatz the gaurantee he won't do it again? how old is he? don't give him a chance move on....he will probably use u like b4 and cheat again...
