Hi, I’m a guy who’s 24 years old. I’m abstaining from sex till marriage and I was wondering has anyone actually done it? If you have what sort of problems were you faced with as a couple? How did you resolve those problems? Was it worth it in the end to save your virginity for the person you love and want to spend the rest of your life with? Or do you regret the decision you made to abstain from sex till marriage? What was the experience like if you did manage to wait till marriage to give your virginity to the person you love?

Yea there are heaps of people who have done that....It gives you a better connection with the one whom you will love for eternity. It is more special!!!! It lasts longer from what i know of. There is nothing you can regret about this. There is NO regrets what so ever. Life may be short and all but it is worth the wait!!!! It is more like a plus. When you have sex for the first time it joins to wonderful hearts together making it more special!!!! Believe me marriages last longer!!! :D

My ex-husband and I both abstained from sex till we were married. We fooled around with foreplay but waited till our wedding night for penetration. We'd been married 5 years and then I found out he'd had an affair. At the time I thought it was great that we both waited. Now though I realise that for some people they feel like they are missing out on something. Its better to have a few life experiences under your belt before you get married. My best friend said to me at the time. You wouldn't buy a car without first test-driving it would you! I agree with her comment now.

No offence mate intended here! But in reality saving ones self can be your downfall later on in your long term relationship? Life is very short and tasting all life has to offer is important ( very !) My 1st sex ended up being my wife in the end! but many years later and many relationships in between. We lasted married 2 1/2 yrs!!

Why??? I will tell you that if a marriage isn't going to work out then it wont matter whether you wait or not to have sex and if your relationship is solely based on "waiting" what do yous really have as a couple? If yous really have a strong relationship then it wont matter if yous do it now, sex does in fact make the bond grow stronger and quicker then waiting, It joins together...

Virginity means novice/rookie etc... a 24 year old should know more about sex than a 14 year old who's actually had sex!

I wanna congratulate you on stickin to beliefs that most people wouldn't have the guts to do. I certainly have not been able to do that, but suppose there are good and bad points for both sides of the argument. Good luck with it

Good sex is a key to a relationship. To ever be good you need lots of experience and study. Women start having sex between 12 and 15, Men start having sex between 14 and 17. If you meet a virgin, keep looking, they will be terrible in bed. If you are doing it naturally yopu are doing it wrong.

I dunno but i wish I had... i have a friend who has been with the same guy for about 6 years they are finally get married and are both virgins... she says its hard but they have come so far now they are like might as well wait!!
