Singles & Dating - 7 February 2007

me and this guy went out for a couple of years. we broke up, tried staying friends, but in the end it was nothing but bitter. so we haven't really talked in ages.

then out of nowhere he emails me asking if i would stand in his wedding........wtf?! apparently he was secretly dating this girl and told everyone he was single. why he found the need to lie about it, i don't know.
so, why the hell would he ask me to stand in his wedding? things did not end on a high note for us, so it's not like we have been the best of friends.
anybody have any clue as to why he would ask his ex to be in his wedding?

So i met this guy 2 weeks ago and the first week after we im'd eachother everyday. i started all of our conversations and I still do. We found we have so much in common. He always dropped little hints like that's cool that you know that and oooo you live close to me and your a cool girl. He even admitted to me the things that make him cry, and most guys wouldn't even admit that they cry or have feelings for that matter. I was really sure he was into me. again, i started all our conversations.Then the next week after we met, we only im'd eachother like every other day and sometimes not even that. and when we did talk, he'd only answer with like one word answers like oh and yeah i always have to lead our conversations and i'm not too good at that. Is he annoyed? Am i overwhelming him? should i keep im'ing him? if so, how often should i im him? does he even like me? please help!

A couple days ago, the guy I liked found out that I liked him for sure (thanks to my "friends" bitching behind my back to be popular) He told them that he kinda knew, cuz I was being a bit obvious.. Now he only talks to me on MSN, and even then all he says is "hi". We used to be really close, and talk to eachother a lot. I want to be his friend now, not anything more. My gf & I have been dating for 2 ½ years. Lately she has said we spend too much time together. She has just graduated from college & is working full time. When we started dating we where seeing each other everyday, but she worked in retail & had school too. Now I'm the only one she really interacts with that is around the same age as her. I told her I don’t mind if she goes out w/friends. I know she needs space. She said she’s not really happy in the relationship; it’s gotten boring, she said she still loves me, she said sometimes it’s like we’re dating “out of habit”, & we’re not attracted to each other (I’m very attracted to her, she’s all I can think about). She said she’s thinking long term. She knows if we were to get married she would not be just marrying me but, my family. Couple of days ago there was this annoying boy brother me and my friend (boy just friends) then the boy that was annoying me and my friend he said i'll get you kick out of JROTC and i was like how and when he siad that he would beat himslef up and go to tell the sergent that it was me that did then my friend was like i'm a witness that she did'nt and we got to the buliding and he siad "I would beat you for her" then I turn around and siad "you would do that for me" he siad "yes"

My boyfriend of 15 months and I just broke up monday. I am devastated. Unfortunetly there is nothing I can do. I still love him with all my heart and wish we could be ok together. My Fiance has lied so much and I have just been findind out over the past few weeks. For ex. he slept with the girl he bought his furniture from. He also slept over at his ex wife's house the night before we moved in. I just want to know should I tell him I am leaving or just pack up my stuff and go. ok i know its a typical question. ill just give my quick veriosn of it. im in my late 20's. all my friends have gf's. im good looking i have money and very fun to hang with. now when i was younger from.. 18-24 id go out, sociallize, party evry weekend and what not. i am little shy around girls. i go out i drink, basically im not a typical shy guy.. i just strike out. i have a"almost gotten thee" ill flirt with a girl then they'll lose intrest. its weird . i think i have done evrythign socially and even met a few girls online..the few i have met actually fell in love with me but i did not with them for various reasons...i just have trouble in the so-called real world...i have gone to state where i have given up going out..i feel i have tried evrythinh for the last 7 yrs...what can i do to change the way i feel about going out?

I met her at a club,we got along great, danced all night,and decided to go back to my place for a late night drink. She is stunning and has a terrific body and a personality to match. There was only one thing that I thought was strange...
When we got back to my place I poured a couple drinks and she sat on the couch. I walked over to her, handed her the drink and I sat next to her.
