me and this guy went out for a couple of years. we broke up, tried staying friends, but in the end it was nothing but bitter. so we haven't really talked in ages.
then out of nowhere he emails me asking if i would stand in his wedding........wtf?! apparently he was secretly dating this girl and told everyone he was single. why he found the need to lie about it, i don't know.
so, why the hell would he ask me to stand in his wedding? things did not end on a high note for us, so it's not like we have been the best of friends.
anybody have any clue as to why he would ask his ex to be in his wedding?

Could be several things, maybe he is having doubts and is looking to get your reaction? Could be he is still really hurt about you and maybe he is trying to get one last gab at you.For what ever reason, he sounds like he's over the edge. Myself, I would nicely decline letting him know I had a hot date and would not be able to make it.

Because he's crazy maybe everyone is giving him their back and he figured you might do it...I don't see any other reason
