for the last 10 years, i've had an on-off relationship with this guy. he says he loves me and wants to get married but when we start talkin details, he comes up with excuses as to why now is not the right time. i love him and want to get married. am tired of waiting cos we've been together too long with no plans for the future. he keeps on saying he doesn't want to make any promises as he's hurt me so much in the past. do i cut off completely and move on or do i hold on for a time cos we have so much history and i love him? need advice fast.

Alright. I gave my girlfriend an engagment ring for x-mas in 2005. She wore it for a while but for the past few months she hadn't been wearing it. I ask her why she hasnt been wearing it? She tells me that she doesnt like to wear jewlery! Now I never really saw her waer a lot of rings or anything but she does always wear a necklace she got from her mom! Should this be a red flag? My boyfriend was murdered a year ago, and I just decided to move on with a guy who I thought was a good guy, one day we started moving to fast and he gave me oral sex(HE WENT DOWN ON ME,I DIDN'T DO HIM) anyway, he comes up missing for 2 weeks and then pops up saying he was arrested for possesion of marijaunna,even though I know he answered his phone and hung up once he realized it was me> I wanna believe him,but common sense keeps me froming doing.
