If he is your ex-boyfriend, and things did not work out between you two in the past, what has changed? Do you MISS HIM ,or just the concept of having a boy friend? Did he just recently move?, because if he did , I think your relationship will be under added strain. The BEST relationships, that are long-distance, are really tough to keep healthy. If you want to ask him out, do it, see how he reacts, why hasn't HE called you, if he still wants to date you? Valentines Day would have given him the perfect opportunity!

if you are sure that he wants you then there is no need to be nervous....just tell him the truth that he is still the special person in your life!! and he still means a lot to you and that his presence in your life will make things more beautiful!!
go ahead and say it!
all the best!
