Oh, boy. That would be breaking the Girlfriend's Code "thou shall not go after a taken man". If he is involved, walk away.
Feel free to smile and joke with him, because that is totally NOT against the code. But DO NOT cross the line. He'll respect you for it in the end, and you won't get a rep. as the girl who scams other girls' guys.

You need to wait for a more opportune time. Don't risk your friendship with the girl by telling an UNavailable guy about your feelings. Wait until they break up and then it gives him more of an option, and you a better chance of making something happen with him, without ruining your friendship.

Don't steal a friends boyfriend away. This is not cool even if you are not close. Wait and see if they break up then he is fair game. By the way if he has any character he will do the right thing too.

If he's dating a friend of yours, I say back away. That would be so unethical. Not only would you upset your friend, but you put him in a bad situation too. You risk losing your friend ...which by the way NO man is worth!

You could tell him, but making sure it wouldn't destroy your firendship with his girlfriend is important, especially if you want to become better friends with her. OK it with her first. It probly won't bother her if you just like him. But if you decide to go out with him be careful because that might make your firend sad and hurt.

dont tell him. itll mess up your friendship and girls can get mean when a girl tries to come between them and their man, so watch out, especially if youre still in school. things can get real ugly real fast. at least wait till theyve broken up to avoid drama.
