Singles & Dating - 24 January 2007

This guy and I have been really good friends for two years, and I don't want to ruin this relationship with a romance. He has recently admitted to developing feelings for me, and they started to make me like him a little.
I'm usually a very logical person...not emotional. I want to go out with him (well not really, really want to, but I would), but I'm scared of the consequences. I really don't want to ruin this friendship.

valentines day gift for my boyfriend

ideas needed such as:
-baking cookies
-give him roses
-write him a card
-err.. well.. screw him

stuff like those, please no repeats =)

hmm.. ideas like picnics, going out to a dinner/movie, dancing... wont work. we dont have that much time to spend together on that day

Should I break up with my boyfriend?
Should i break up with him?
me and my boyfriend have a pretty good relationship, i love him to pieces. but when we fight its a whole different story. He doesnt hurt me pyscial but he still makes me want to cry at times for what he says, or maybe just how he fights, he blames everything on me and takes no responsiblity for anything
so yesterday i told him that what it he blew it, and i dont trust that he wont ever do this to me again
but now he wont stop calling me and telling me hes sorry
i hate the way he fights but when he says sorry after it makes me feel like i should forgive him and make up, because i have reasons that i love him
its not the first time i would be forgiving him either...
what should i do?
what do you think about this situation?

I am just wondering because I don't get weird looks or negative reactions from anybody other than PREPPY white people. I am a sr in college and I have diamonds in my ears, a chain, wear jordans, and got a fade haircut. I grew up urban and I feel best this way. I tried to convert to the whole abercrombie thing and couldn't do it for a day. I want to date date interracially .I am only attracted to black girls- White girls don't even do anything for me. I have been this way since I was like 13. I never really took action because you never see white guy-black girl that often in Missouri where I live. I didn't think that black girls would be attracted to white guys. Why is it so many white girls give dirty looks when so many date interracially themselves?? I don't get why people gotta be so damn stupid and hate. This is the year 2007. That crap should have stopped long ago. Why is it people don't like what you do because it is something that they wouldn't but doesn't hurt them either??

fell in love. with a bad guy. i loved him. i got to know the truth (he was a liar) and still loved him. but hope was fading. i got disappointed. again and again. he was taking other directions (dating), letting me wait for him just to be sure he had love. i knew i had to loose hope. completely. no chance to think or work properly for months. sadness and trying to quit this impossible love. he was still holding on to me. i somehow seemed unable to give up completely. but the bigger disillusion and disappointments grow, the better i know i have to quit this way. he seems to really like and kind of love me too. but i'm too much hurt now, to admit love anymore. to let him have any hope. now it's me who's giving little hints like what a bad guy he is. if he asks me a serious relationship-based question, i'm ironic and unclear. things get more and more hard. still i love him. it's alright to quit, isn't it?

My boyfriend (age 29) and I (age 26) have been dating for a year and seven months. Our relationship is wonderful! We get along incredibly well and we discuss our emotions openly. He is a warm, caring man.
I often ponder our future together. I don't expect a strong committment at this moment; I am happy with our current state. Yet, I find it comforting to know that the man I love feels that we "could" have a future together, be it just cohabiting for a long time or actual marriage.
The only thing that really worries me is that he says "He doesn't
know if he's thinking at all about a really long relationship, relatively" and "in order to feel good he needs to cultivate a certain "open ended" kind of philosophy".
These words sting me. I think it is natural to let the dating cycle take it's course until you find "the right one", but I also think it's healthy to be on the same page.
Am I wrong to be concerned with his feelings? It makes me feel used in a way.

Theres this guy that I hung out with a few times and things were going well....but then things started going bad and I didn't want to end anything but he was acting like a jerk so soon I told him that I just wanted to be friends....we still hung out at movies and stuff but he acted more like a jerk. He now hangs around this new girl and now he pretends he doesn't even know me. I hate that things became like this but I can't move on.......not that I want him to be my man.....but that I want to be friends with him and it seems like he doesn't even care about me as a friend and doesn't even put effort into saying hi to me. What should I do???

Well lets start this by saying my boyfriends parents got divorced when he was 6 b/c his mom cheated on his father, his first love left him to date his brother and his second love left him to date his best friend. Well needless to say from this he has huge trust issues. We met a year and a half ago and it took him 9 months to ask me to be his girlfriend, its been a very slow growing relationship, but we are now very close and i love him more than anything, ive never been so happy in my life, the only problem is, he always gets uptight about other guys, my friend from 2 states away called me and i called him back at 2 in the morning and my boyfriend bugged out thinking it was suspicious, i dont know what to do, i understand why he get uptight, but i will never cheat on him, i will marry him someday! but how do i prove to him im 100% faithful?

i have been having really bad bloated feelings in my stomach and this is the i felt when i was pregnant with my son and i dont think that it is mensrual cramps because it s not the same feeling...if i was pregnant i would only be 3 weeks along...plus i did have my tubes tied but i heard they can come undone...i HAVE NOT had them burned though...

So my crush went out of town for a month a month ago and now he is back. While he was gone i kinda stopped liking him.
Now that he is back I think my feelings are coming back but im not sure. I kinda feel sick about him, like i feel like i kinda dislike him yet i still have feelings for him. It's weird. I think i was trying to MAKE myself hate him and it started to work but now that he is back it's not working anymore. I deleted him from his myspace and i got jealous when i looked at his girls page so im about to delete her. I hate this... It's so unfair.
How do i get over a crush? This has been going on since the beginning of the school year.
Meeting new guys doesnt help and its all i can think about.
Yes he knows how i feel and even flirted with me.. He even insinuated(sp) that he would mess around with me even though he has a girl.
