get a restraining order

You have a few choices:
1) Leave him and tell him why, tell him he's smothering you and you need some personal space. Sounds like he may have insecurity and trust issues.

2) Tell him you need personal space and that you care, but need time for just you. This can lead to two things happening, either he accepts it or he is persistent and then you need to decide if you want someone so possessive (then go to #1).

If its become so smothering that you are asking others for help then chances are he will not stop and you need to do some soul searching and decide what you want more...your space or a 24/7 BF.

Tell him you need some space. If he doesn't get the hint, talk to his parents. If that doesn't work, you could file a harassment suit. If you feel threatened physically, you can get a restraining order.

its because he still loves you, he doesent want to lose you but he doesent realize hes pushing you away rather than getting you back, you could either take it in a bad way or think off it in a good way, that he still loves you even when your not together. if you still dont want him hold his hand and let him down gentle, because you felt something once for this guy, and its always horrible parting on bad terms,

Do you have mutual Friends? have them, "muscle in" on him. if not. If not. Bring the Law in it. There's no reason to be harassed.
