I've never seen it, in most cases they have to give the patient a DNC because if they don't and the tubes rupture it can and most likely will kill the mother.

No, a fallopian tube that housed an ectopic pregnancy would burst by 10 weeks. This would cause bleeding and severe pain and is a medical emergency that would most likely have been discovered by a doctor by that point. It is possible, but extremely rare, for an ectopic pregnancy to rupture a fallopian tube and then reattach itself somewhere else in the abdominal cavity and continue to grow. However, this is also a very dangerous, life-threatening condition that would be monitored by a doctor so that a c-section could be performed as soon as the baby was viable.

A ectopic or tubular pregnancy is a dangerous situation. If you think you have one please call you ob/gyn ASAP. Don't wait!

I was having pain on one side after finding out I was pregnant and the doc had me come in for a sonogram to make sure it wasn't a tubular pregnancy. I was lucky it wasn't, but if it had been, I would have had emergency surgery to save my life.

Ectopic pregnancies untreated can cause some serious problems. One of which is a ruptured tube which in many cases causes one to not be able to have kids.

No, generally those babies are "aborted". I hate to use that word, but there is no way that the child will make it through gestation, no way to "relocate" it to a better spot, so they terminate the pregnancy. If they do not, it could cause permanent damage if allowed to progress too far

Also, most of the time mother nature will take over, and a miscarriage will occur. Your body knows what is best, and a tubal pregnancy will not work, and can be harmful.

I really don't think so - at least I've never heard of anybody going full term with a tubular pregnancy ... my friend had this happen to her ... it was the most painful thing she's ever felt ... your doctor should be more help then us ... !

They wouldn't let you keep carrying the baby. The risk would be too high for you. It's called an ectopic pregnancy, and yes, some babies have survived it(very, very few babies), even in the abdomen of the woman. ( Saw it on a tv show a few days ago). The risk is too high for the woman.

an ectopic pregnancy is not a viable one, meaning that the baby would not survive. It does not have enough room in the fallopian tubes to grow.

Unfortunately, no. Ectopic pregnancies cannot continue to term (birth), so the developing cells must be removed to save the mother's life.

I've always been offended by surfers saying "Tubular!" because it's like... another word for Excellent! or like... Radical!... and there's nothing Sweet! about Tubular! Pregnancy.

No. It would have to be removed from the tube. And if it isn't, the tube would rupture and you would die. You would be lucky if the Fallopian tube were able to be saved.
