because I am new in the neighborhood and at my work place. I am divorced and I am looking for a serious relationship with a white male. Can someone advise me on this. All my weekends I pass along. Okay, when I was growing up, girls always used to tell me that I should learn how to play guitar because it's "sexy." As a result, I taught myself how to play and I've been playing for about two years now. I love guitar but I guess the big question in my head was never answered: "Do girls really think guitar skills are attractive?" I know every single girl in the world has her own individual preference as far as priorities when it comes to choosing a guy, but I'm just curious. How many girls think playing guitar is an attractive feature?

So...

I was raped 3 months ago. By my neighbor. I was friends with he and his girlfriend. Needless to say, I avoid him now, which inadvertantly means I avoid her as well. She has called/stopped by a few times to see what's up, and I've side-stepped her. I do not believe that she knows what happened.

I have discussed this with a few close friends and my therapist, but not the authorities. I'm just not willing to go there- which is stunning to both my friends and I because I'm not... I have never had an issue standing up for myself. Whatever. I'm not asking for your opinions about my ability, or lack thereof, to have this disgusting man arrested. I'm not really willing to go there now.

Ok guys the last time I asked this I got reported for a violation - somebody probably thought I was venting frustration or something. So let me start by saying I'm not just ranting or anything, I legitimately want to know this question.

My question is: Why do girls/women always complain about how they can never seem to find a "nice guy" and that there's nobody but jerks around, yet they completely ignore every nice guy that ever asks them out?

I’m writing to you because what I have to say is easier to type rather than discuss over the phone. I think we need time apart. Lately, I’ve been thinking about many things that have been going on with my life. When I got around to thinking about you, I thought about how things have changed so much from August to this very day. It has been very pleasant getting to know you. Furthermore, it has been very refreshing to share many moments with you, and I loved our conversations.
However, despite all of these things, I’m between a rock and a hard place. Believe me when I say that I know the importance of friendship. We will always be friends. Right now, I’m still smitten over you and it gets harder and harder to forget about a future with you ever again. I regret treating you that way that I have. Honestly, my feelings have not changed, not at all. We both are very busy people, but it’s hard to not think about you, hard not to wonder what is going on with you. I don’t know if you had someone else in mind to be with, nor do I think I can handle it. And this is why I’m thinking that we should not talk for a little while.
I don’t want to hold on to something that was perhaps never there, or be the one that is upset because you decided to move on to someone who truly makes you happy. I know that in a lot of ways, it probably is not possible for us to have a relationship at all. I’m probably the last person that you even think of most of the time.
Being with you and all of the good times that we had is preparing me well for the future of more things to come. It hurts me to even write this, but I have to deal with the fact that you are not returning, so this is what I have to do.

Ive been thinking about asking a girl to prom with who i have liked for a few years but I only see her once a week at church where we talk some but i really dont know what she thinks about me. Ive known her for several years and she is a really nice girl, but if she said no for some reason it would make things really strange everytime I saw her. I wouldnt be that big of a deal to go with just my friends but they all have dates and i would get really bored at prom by myself. Been dating 9 months, been great. He gave 3 reasons for breaking up: (1) Love. he loves me, therefore he wants to break up with me. Basically, he feels unworthy of me so bad about continuing to date me, and would break up as an act of love. (2) Time. He wants us to spend time doing other things, and grow while apart. (3) Timing. He wants us to break up while "our relations are still beautiful"/before we start disliking each other (Something I doubt will ever need to happen). I know he is being sincere, he insists that those are his reasons. From the beginning he has shown signs of being insecure about himself. He started dating me by saying "I Don't feel proportionate/worthy of you, but I want to date you." I already told him his reasons don't make any sense. Ok so there is this guy I have been checking out who I think he is cute. He seems older than me but I realized that he is shy and gets nervous when I am around and I feel the same way. I am shy so it's hard for me to break the ice with someone I like.

I have noticed that he is talking with people I talk to when he didn't talked to anyone in the first place.

I think of my self as a attractive guy, I get plenty of winks and smiles from the girls. But as soon as they know that I am hard of hearing, they dont want to talk to me anymore. Why is that? I am very nice and everything, but lack a good set of ears, why does that make such a difference?
