Hello there, I am a new person where I have moved to, but I have a problem, most men do not approach me......?

because I am new in the neighborhood and at my work place. I am divorced and I am looking for a serious relationship with a white male. Can someone advise me on this. All my weekends I pass along. Longing to have company. The Black men think I am too good for them, because my career has taken me to high places. I feel more comfortable with white men that make and associate with people with the same orientation that I have. Can someone recommend what to do. Thank you.

That is a very racist statement. You are too good for a Black man?? Would you date an unemployed White man before you would date a Black doctor.... or would he be "good enough" for you then??

Have you ever considered that your "better than everyone" attitude makes you completely "untouchable" and intimidating??

Be strong and be proud ... you obviously have worked very hard to get where you are. Ease up a bit and smile... talk to anyone who speaks to you and it will lead to others approaching you. Talking to a street person won't hurt you but it will show you are compassionate.

Get off your high horse and loosen up. Before you get into a serious relationship, you have get to that point. I don't see anything wrong with you (as a black woman) wanting to date a white man. I happen to be a black male who is not interested in black women. But I think you may be coming off as "too proud" for anyone. That may be the reason why white men aren't approaching you and that black men are "intimidated" (for lack of a better term) by you.

Start off making it known that you are available. Try going to a bar with a few females from work who are unattached.

Then work your way up to talking to people at different places where you like to frequent. Do you go to church? Do you go to the library? Do you like going to night clubs?

Try places where you are comfortable being, then branch out.

There are also on-line dating services. May not be exactly what you want, but its always a good way to meet new people.

First off am sorry you are alone. 2nd men can tell that you are desperate and want a serious relationship. They sense it. You need to take it easy and act happy with yourself even if you are alone. Try joining a club and meeting girls first, that will fill some of your empty weekends,and will make you look popular to the men too.

Same problem. Guys won't come near me because I have a rather erhem, fierce attitude. (I dated this weird guy once and he tried to put some moves on me... I broke his nose and since then Ive been avoided.) Yes you'll probably be lonely for a time. But you don't have to go look for it. Sometimes it just... drops into your lap. And don't give up on all black males, yeah some of them are jerks but you find them in all races. Just dropped in to give emotional support. Good luck.
