Maybe it's stupid. i'm 21 but acting like a little kid. i've been with this guy for three months and we (mostly he) decided to become just friends. well, we still slept together after that but then i called him twice the other week and then decided that i won't call him anymoe, if he wants he'll call. well...he's not calling. i miss him but know that if we should just be friends it's probably the best for me that i don't talk to him. i really would like to hear from him though. should i just call him. wuld i be forcing myself on him?

I want to be able to ask my boyfriend what his honest opinion is of me, but I have a feeling that maybe I might not be able to stomach it. I know I'll ask anyways, but how do I deal with the feeling of being inadequate, if thats the way you would put? How do I accept his opinion which has a chance to be damaging to my feelings? I know it may be "just an opinion" but his opinion counts to me.

Ok, so there's this guy, and at one point we were the best of friends, but he changed and eventually started thinking of me as some form of a whore/slut or w/e. I told him to just buzz off and I cut off all ties with him, but a few days later i get calls from his friends saying INTERESTING things to me about stuff i just don't want to hear especially from guys i hardly know. I call him and tell him to stop telling his friends the things he's telling them. Eventually all communication stops, and we just arent friends anymore. Now it's three months after the last time i talked to him and he's trying to get communication started through my younger sister. What do I do? He wants to talk to me but I'm tired of being hurt. I just don't think someone could change and if he has changed how do I know he won't go back to what he used to be? Anyone have help for me?

Instead of speaking calmly during a problem he yells at me. i ask him nicely to please dont yell but he gets more and more worked up. Lately he is saying nasty things too like "you are not the brightest crayon in the box" then when he saw how much it upset me he apologised. but there has been more incidents since. My question is how can we overcome this?

I earlier asked a similar question, but wanted to clarify. I am 45 years old with a son who is 11 living at home. My son was abandoned by his father 3 years ago and he has not seen or heard from him since (nor have I, hence the divorce). I have older daughters who live on their own.
I work a full-time + job and am limited with the amount of time I have to meet men. I just want to try to concentrate my efforts in a place that might be the most fruitful without going to bars.
I also belong to a church with an older population, so that really isn't an option either. I am an independent woman, so I am not looking for someone who is trying to find a mother for themselves or someone to support them. I prefer someone who is equally independent and would like to go to a movie occasionally or to dinner, and who won't exclude my son.

Where are good places for people like me to look for a companion (or more)?

This guy dated me for a week and it didnt work out but now we decided to be friends. Everytime I ask him whats on his mind, he says that he is thinking about the time we spent together. I ask him the same thing in a different conversation and he said that he was thinking of me. He said the could be thinking of me in many different reasons, like he said "because i am talking to you, your pretty, and there are many reasons." What could this mean? Okay,heres some things that he's done that makes me feel like he likes me.
-We never talked before,but one day he came up to me,and said something like he was just trying to talk to me.
-He did me a favor(getting my marching band uniform),which seems like something a guy would do for his girlfriend.
-We was waiting to get our uniforms,and usually he would talk to his friends,but ALL of his attention was on me,and for some reason he waited for EVERYONE to get off the bus except me him his friend and my friend and then me and him made our way to get our uniforms.
-I catch him staring at me quite alot.
-He had this concert thing he was singing at,and I decided to go,right when I walked in his eyes went RIGHT to me(even though he had a girlfriend then)then while he was singing,he made eye contact with me,and didnt let it break for like 3 to 5 seconds and he kept smiling at me every second we just looked at each other.
-He hold the door for me every now and then.

I don’t know how to describe such a guy, but I know they’re out there. Those guys, I guese you could call them. I mean, in nations where adultery is punishable by stoning – there are some guys women are still willing to risk it for. Consider that one time, composer richard wagner had sex with a man's wife, and the man truthfully said he felt honored. now i don't know if wagner was a true alpha male, but presuming he was - or just assuming somebody else – its got to be something when even the guy you’re with has to say ‘dayum . . . .’
