I have strong feelings for someone who seems to be into me but isn't pursuing anything. He shows interest when occasionally in my presence but is not really a part of my life. I date other people but keep hoping that he will come around. Does this ever happen or am I wasting my time?

Don't wait. If he is "the one" then he is "the one" and it will just happen, you can't force it. If he is "the one" then there is nothing he or you can do to stop it from happening either. This may not happen for a month, a year or 5 years. Don't wait. Your never dating anyone will not change your fate any more than your dating everyone in your home town. Purge him from your life and if he is "the one" then he will be drawn back.

It will happen for you. It always does. However, If you get a reputation you will lose out on the right guy. Guys will never marry the girls they like to play around with. If a guy thinks the girl has been used and abused by many guys it's over for her. She'll have to find someone out of town where no one knows her name.
