we already know that we like each other. i told him that i've like him for a while and he told me that he liked me. i thaught that he was a player but once he gets a girlfriend he is really sweet to them. we flirt a lot but he seems to be kinda shy about taking the next step. should i continue to be friends with him or what?

I have been talking to this guy online since November of last year. We are now having phone conversations everyday. The thing is, I like to investigate who Im talking to. I called his job, they never heard of him, I researched his address he gave me online, and its not under his name plus I sent him a card to waited to see that he would tell me he got it and he never did, I cant find him ANYWHERE on people searches online. When I talk to him he is sweet as pie, but the sources dont add up. Everyone knows Im talking to him, even my mother. He is supposed to come see me in 2 weeks. He thinks Im nervous because of him coming, when in fact, its because Im having second doubts about him. Does anybody know where I can do a good backround search or can someone tell me what I should do? Its getting bad, because Im starting to fall for him. If a girl acts kind of different than she did on your date is she no longer interested? On the date she was laughing at everything I said. Yesterday at the bar she was not laughing as much, or joking with me much, and acting a little different. She was kind of sick though. Is she most likely not interested in me anymore, or is this normal and I'm over thinking it.

I should also note I text her the night before asking her if she was going to this bar. She didn’t respond. She ended up being there (and she is not a regular there) and told me it was a coincidence.

My son is a 20 year old college student. He has a wonderful fiance who we love very much. My problem is her mother. Her mother is not the evil mother-in-law to be, she just won't let go. JM (my son) and JD (his fiance) have to drive about an hour to see each other. JD usually prefers to come here because she says our family is much more relaxed than her family. She enjoys the joking and laughter (no our family is no sit-com, we have our full share of bad days), but she told me we are at least vocal and don't keep it all inside. Please believe these are good people. I guess for the purpose of this question I'm only stating the bad.

To the problem. JM and JD asked me to call and ask if JD could spend the night one night because she was really tired and it was raining. When I asked her mother she said "ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! What would people say? I will never allow her to damage her reputation that way" I was hurt and now I don't know what to do or what to or say to her. Plz hlp!

I txtd this guy I really care about today and when he txtd back he put a 'x' at the end for the first time ever.

He's kinda shy with girls and I've been his friend for like a month and hes never done this before. I don't know if he does this with all his girl friends or not...

Calling a guy back - a question for women. I asked this but it wasn't clear so some answers were strange. Women: if you are really liking a guy at a bar and he is confident and cool and you give him your number with a smile, but then when he calls and leaves a message on your machine and sounds more serious and self-conscious and not half as "cool" as his bar/club persona, would you call him back or would him being nervous on the phone be a turn-off (despite being Mr. cool when you first met him)?
