He's "broken up" with me 3 times in the past 4 years we've been dating. The last time was this past week, and I told him it was over, but he begged me not to and said we could go to counseling to work things out. So I decided to take him back.
Now I don't feel like I'm really in love with him... I suspect that I no longer can trust him to NOT leave me because he's done is numerous times, so if I'm not in love with him and he leaves me again, I won't be upset. It's so strange because when we broke up I was thinking about how much I loved him and I didn't know how I'd go on without him.. now it's like I've gotten over him even though we're dating. Anyone felt like this before? How do I know if I am truly in love with him or if I'm pushing those feelings away just to save myself from future pain?

My friend came to stay at my house for a visit for a few weeks and we were really excited and so was she. But when she arrived the first few days were fine but then she started to complain about everything including why would I want to be in a committed relationship to the colour of sand at the beach, it wasnt the same colour as in her state. Then she just stopped talking to me and my b-friend and that really pissed us off, cause we would come home from work and she would just go into her room and shut the door, anyway this lasted for a few days and everytime I asked her what was wrong she would say nothing that was just how she was. In the end we had had enough and I comfronted her again and she turned around and said "thats who I am if you don't like too bad", so I turned around and told well she can leave then!
She looked horrified but didn't care cause she left leaving stuff i had bought for her behind. We had been pals 4 nearly 10 years. What do you think was her problem.

I am totally in love with this guy, but he is from a different state. I plan to go visit him in a few months, when I get the money, but he'll probably be coming to my state in the next 2 cause he has a friend whose dad lives here.
He's a city boy, coming from Cali but now living in suburban Colorado. I'm a country tomboy turned Southern Belle from the backwoods of East Texas. We share common interest in things such as weaponry, fighting, skateboarding and I've always wanted to surf while he already rode a few waves. But outside the guy stuff, we also love romance, kissing, cuddling and the like too.
He'll be showing me all his city stuff when I'm there, the types of things he knows. But while he's here, I want to show him the stuff I grew up doing.
So my question is, does my ideal date seem really weird? Or is it kinda cool considering I'm a country girl?

I met this guy a couple nights ago he is a friend of a friend..we hit it off pretty well and now we have been texting back and forth and what not...He kind of gives me a creepy vibe sometimes though Im not really sure what he is looking for..my friend says he is a nice guy and he talked to him about me for hours so should i go with my gut instinct or trust my friends judgement..he wants to go out just the two of us this week any suggestions as to what a type of date we should go on that will not be too awkward...thank you

This happens to me quite often. I am at a store, or somewhere out during the day and I notice a guy looking at me (i know he is checking me me out and smiles at me) and then I look at him (I think Wow he's cute) and usually just smile and keep on walking. Should a girl smile and also say Hi or just keep minding her business until the guy approaches her with small talk and maybe then he will ask for her number??
True question is, How to meet GUYS and when to make a move..... or when not to make a move... or never make a move...

i have some friends, guy and girl, who both got drunk one night and had sex. they got completely wasted. the background is that she was never interested in him as a partner, but he always had a thing for her.

well, they got really drunk one night and did it. she later said that she did not "know what she was doing" because "she was too drunk", and by that definition, she said she was raped.

he was just as plastered and chalked it up to basically "2 people got drunk and had sex. i was just as drunk and i didnt force her to do anything."

she never pressed charges, but didnt mind telling everyone and letting every girl out there know that this guy is some kind of a rapist.

has this ever happened to anyone else? i was actually pissed at the guy until i found out that she was the one who actually initiated the sex, and then i decided that she was just a lying ho-bag.

how has this become such a rallying cry for some women?

i'm a beautiful, intelligent, and awesome woman. but this man has come into my life and has swept me off my feet. he's not my usual type. i tend to go for guys who are easy on the eye, athletic build, and the opposite of a nice guy. this man I've met is the opposite...intelligent, funny, thoughtful, and most might not find him drop dead gorgeous...but i find him adorable. should i take a chance on something different? or am i only setting myself up for failure?
