Find a creative way to exist!
There's never an easy solution to that problem. Many relationships are the result of chance. Chance usually hits you when you least expect it.
However, it's always possible to nudge chance in the right direction. ;)
All I can say is make a move, but make sure you've put some thought into it. The first impression you make will be a lasting one if you do it right. Find a way to create your presence, but don't rush to the next step of asking him/her out just yet. Otherwise, you might not give that person time to see your personality or develop a "real" attraction...

You have to get his attention somehow. Drop an egg on his head, that usually works.
