Singles & Dating - 9 January 2007

Yesterday was my boyfriends birthday. About a week or so ago I asked him if he would like to go to a comedy club (my Moms treat) on this day. He said he would take the day off.... well on sat. I reminded him and he said he HAD to work. No big deal cause if you have to work what more can u do? So On sunday night he spoke to his boss and he gave him the day off... so great now he can go. Tickets were already bought and paid for. So yesterday he tells me that he hsa somethin very important to do and he cannot go. Then he tells me the reason is because of the BCS title game. Now I am an understanding person...As a HUGE NASCAR fan I can appreciate not wanting to miss an event such as a title game, If it were the daytona 500 I wouldn't have went either... but that doesn't mean I cannot be disapointed with him and a little angry. its not like there wasnt 800 TVs with the game playing where we went. any way mor to come, please check back

I met a guy last summer he works at my favourite coffee place where I drop in for breakfast during the week-end. He is always very kind and we chat when there's no other customers. He has a girlfriend but I know from him and his dad he is going out a lot on his own and with male friends. I gave him a little Christmas present, he hugged me and kissed me on the cheeks to say thank you. Last time I saw him he cornered me and told me that it had been, as always, a really great pleasure to see me (looking directly into my eyes) and when I left the place soon after he tried to talk me into staying longer and keep him company. But he never asked me out. Is he just being kind or is he interested?

I was seeing a guy and in four months we spent 1 night together, i dont think he was cheating but he just never seemed to have the time for me and there was always an excuse, whats worse is that we work together and actually sit together we have both booked this week off work so don't have to worry about it too much until next monday i told him it was over on sunday but he has not responded to any calls or texts if he said he loved me and meant it then he would have asked me why I ended it or wanted some sort of explanation. I know I'm better without him but i did love him and still do but im not gonna be anyones doormat. Do you think im over reacting or what??

i ended my 6 year relationship with my fiance 6 months ago. He was very controlloing and possessive of me. I couldnt take it anymore.

Just one question. SO if you lay in bed with someone who you are supposedly just friends and when you wake up in the morning you really need to go home but he wont let you. He wants you to just lay there with him and hold him and him hold you. He does this for like 3 hours until you finally really have to go home. (yes you were intimate that night and this is the second time) Then you go to work and he starts acting wierd and doesnt have much to say at work and doesnt really call you for like a week. SO what does this mean?

I felt sorry for all the nerds who were in my school. Back in a days, they wouldn't get any attention from chicks. In the beginning I was feeling sorry for them but then I didn't. Coz nerds didn't help me in the school doing my homework, they made fun of me when I failed Chemistry and Geology. There are also some nerds in my office who gets in my nerves. I still don't know why exactly do chicks hate nerds? They are smart and chicks like smart guys.

Watched the game last night, got a text from my boss "what is going on" which pi$$d me off b/c my b/f doesn't like him and I knew it would start something. I replied back, 'watching game' and of course, my b/f got mad. To make this short, this morning at work, my boss made fun of me b/c he meant about the game (I'm an OSU fan), like they're playing horrible, what's going on....not like, what are you doing.....I stayed at my house last night, my b/f stayed at his. Fighting lead to this, obviously, but what makes me so mad is that he told me that it should be okay if his ex texts/emails him if my boss can.....WHAT? How can he compare someone he was with for 6 years to my boss?!?!?! He loved her, slept with her for 6 years and he's comparing this with my boss texting me?!?! We fight over stupid things......we both know we're loyal and in love....do you think we just need space from each other? I love him so much and will do anything, even if it's giving him space.

I always want to call him and ask him dumb questions. And tell him dumb stuff - like the girl I think hes talking to now is a money grubbing ho and to watch himself.

I once knew a guy who came across as conservative and proper. He was definately into women but I know he had gay friends and was happy to hang out at gay clubs, which many men are not comfortable with. One day he leaned over in front of me and...well...there it was. A bona fide thongthongthongthongthong (dang, can't get that song outta m'head now). Once I had finished choking on the ravioli I happened to be eating right then, I couldn't stop laughing. And never looked at him the same way again. Do you think he was denying his sexuality (am I misinformed that gay guys are ok with wearing thongs?)? Or was it just for comfort? What guy wears a thong!?

Reason I;m asking? He is dating a friend of mine. She doesn't know yet. I am sure the subject is going to come up soon.....
