it means: "thanks for everything you have done for me it means a lot to me".
i suggest that if you want to know what the "everything" is you ask him. it could be a lot of things. too many things to speculate. besides, you didn't say who wrote it who they wrote it to. you didn't say the relationship between the 2 people. you really haven't given us enough information to say what it could mean.

This person is very thankful for different things you have done for them. It could be you helped them get over a bad relationship, maybe you've built up their self-esteem, it could be a lot of reasons. Just realize, your a good person and someone wants to "thank you" for your kindness.

It means what it says - you have helped somone through a difficult time or given them advice or just given them a helping hand in some way and they are thanking you - if you give more details then that would help

well i will answer it in two different answers.
first, if you just broke up and your ex boy/girfriend said that it means, she or he consider about the relationship which just ended. (nice word to dump you in a polite manner)
second, if its just an ordinary relationship, it means you are such a nice person, live with it. ain't much nice people like you.

well it could mean a lot of things...it could mean that that person is saying thanks for helping them through life or the things you have don for that person in the past and it must really affect them in ways and they are thanking you for it.It really depends on the situation.
