I once knew a guy who came across as conservative and proper. He was definately into women but I know he had gay friends and was happy to hang out at gay clubs, which many men are not comfortable with. One day he leaned over in front of me and...well...there it was. A bona fide thongthongthongthongthong (dang, can't get that song outta m'head now). Once I had finished choking on the ravioli I happened to be eating right then, I couldn't stop laughing. And never looked at him the same way again. Do you think he was denying his sexuality (am I misinformed that gay guys are ok with wearing thongs?)? Or was it just for comfort? What guy wears a thong!?
Reason I;m asking? He is dating a friend of mine. She doesn't know yet. I am sure the subject is going to come up soon.....

You wear anything if you feel comfortable in it. There is no such thing as garments forbidden for men. What a load of cra*p! I am a straight male and I wear only female thongs as underwear. They are absolutely comfortable and I love the feeling and would not settle for anything else in this life!
Anyone wanting to wear thongs, should go buy wear them and enjoy, not caring about what the others may or may not think.

I was once forced to wear a female (no nut hammock) thong for 13 hours, so can probably speak with some authority on the subject. It does actually feel kind of liberating to get some fresh air to those butt cheeks, and to feel a looser cloth (ie that of your trousers) against them.
Second possibility is that it is because he has some kind of itch in his crevice that he can't get rid of and the string rubs the right spot.

Not only gay men wear thongs. A lot of German men wear them...especially on the beach. They are quite kinky and into all that lol! personally its a bit weird for me if i see a guy wearing one which luckily doesnt happen too often.

Well, if he's comfortable with it, that is really the only one that matters. I personally believe that it's inappropriate for a heterosexual man to wear that type of clothing, but I did grow up on a farm in the Midwestern USA...
