Just act natural!
Don't do something nasty such as using a crazy pickup line, try to make a conversation using what is currently on the environment or situation you currently have.
For example you are both on a line that is taking forever to end, just make a comment or joke that you will probable grow a mustach while waiting or something..
Be creative! It does need practice though.. Anyway if the girl is not really interested in you.. Don't push it there will be others =)

Make a nice comment about something she is wearing. Guys come up to me all the time and comment about my clothes, shoes, etc. It's a way to start a conversation. You can see wear the conversation is going by how she reacts to you.
