How do you forgive a spouse that you love dearly and feel the two of you were meant to be together after you discover that he/she broke their vows and has been sleeping with someone else and lieing about it for over a year? How do you trust them again after they've betrayed your trust when your entire relationship was built on promises that they would never do such a thing. Even after knowing all that you've been through with previous relationships? How do you move on from that, when in you mind, everytime he/makes sexual advances, you can see flashes of him doing that to someone else, but he's a minister and a youth pastor, a man of God. I really want to know if anyone really ever gets through such a thing and if so how? Because I really do have a desire to forgive and forget, but I don't know how.

i have someone who broke my heart, he was a player, and hurt me a lot. i feel so messed up right now, im constantly thinking about him and missing him strangely and hes a player and doesnt give a sh!t. he acts all casual about it and it hurts me that he didnt care 4 me. is it a good idea 2 go and yell at him and try and make him feel guilty or go thru this pain and what it seems like forever until it goes away. i tried moving on i cant trust no one im afraid 2 be hurt again, he was the first guy i ever liked so maybe thats why im so hurt by it....ugh worst way 2 end the year. and ill probably feel the same opening the year too.

I really like a woman but she told me she "needed some time to get her life together" because she's just come out of a bad relationship and is not yet interested in jumping into a new one.

A month later she asked me if I was dating someone special. I said no. She said I would like to call me on a personal level every once in a while and called me once a week for a month. When I told her that I got out of a relationship a while back and she says oh, then you are just like me. I tell her “no” I do date and I dated a while back. Instead of saying she was ready to date she then said “I expect that you would“. Three days later she told me she liked me and wanted me to come to work meeting but then said it wasn’t like we could go out together because we lived too far away.

I went on a date Friday night...it was great (good chemistry, eye contact, laughing, conversation,etc). Based on the date and his body language, Im pretty sure he likes me. But, he did not kiss or hug me at the end of the date. Instead, he said "call me sometime if you want to go to the movies or hang out". When I told him I had a great time, he said "we should do this again SOMETIME". Okay, so does he really want ME to be the one to call him next? Or, should I continue to wait to see if he calls?
