I really like a woman but she told me she "needed some time to get her life together" because she's just come out of a bad relationship and is not yet interested in jumping into a new one.

A month later she asked me if I was dating someone special. I said no. She said I would like to call me on a personal level every once in a while and called me once a week for a month. When I told her that I got out of a relationship a while back and she says oh, then you are just like me. I tell her “no” I do date and I dated a while back. Instead of saying she was ready to date she then said “I expect that you would“. Three days later she told me she liked me and wanted me to come to work meeting but then said it wasn’t like we could go out together because we lived too far away.

It doesn't sound like she knows what she wants at this point. It sounds like she is scared to get into something. Perhaps her last relationship was pretty bad and she is scarred. If she's worth the wait, then give her some time. If she seems to have too much baggage then you would do better to move on.

doesnt sound like much of anything to me, from my experience if you really like someone it really doesnt matter what stage of life your in, now sometimes it does take awhile to know or see if you are interested in anyone but you said she has basically had a second chance to make a move or respond to yours and hasnt and seems to have a pretty negative attitude twords dating anyways so you dont really want that anyways, theres other fish in the sea right, Good Luck Kimbur

Two possibilities I can think of... A. she likes you and is testing you to see if you would say something like "distance doesn't matter when you are really into someone." or B. (most likely) when she doesn't have something better going on she calls you up to make her feel wanted. You should think about not being so available for her weekly calls. good luck

She might be testing you. It sounds like she might have been hurt before and might be a little scared. Give her some time. If she really likes you, she'll come around.

She wants to date you but she can't stand rejection so go up and ask her what she wants and stuff cause i think she truly likes you but doesn't think it might work out.

Uh.. kind of confusing... I say you leave her alone. She's probably having too many problems in her personal life right now.
