Ive been friends with this guy for 3 years now... ever since we met we've had a "thing" its been on and off for three years and both of us had a pretty serious relationship in between our thing. Everytime we hang out we always end up making out and doing stuff.. but after we hang out it seems like we dont talk at all for a couple weeks sometimes months but then as soon as we talk and hang out we still end up doing stuff. i feel like im not good enough for him but yet i dont understand why we hang out then i dont know i guess my question is if i should just stay away or talk to him and see if there really is anything there. i think it would be hard for us to be friends simply because of our past. I dont know what to do....

ok so this guy "George" he told a mutual friend he liked me. I said noway because i was still with my whatever he was for 4 years still. So about 6 month passes. I ran into him at a show on mother's day. (we hang out in the same local scene). He didn't even say hi he just avoided me. So I seen him a little later and added him over on myspace. Highschoolish i know. So we talked daily and he invited me to join him at his job for this you can only get in with vip card event. I go with a friend and we decided the next day to go to this festival to celebrate our Polish heritage. Well he never called or talked to me online since. But here's the kicker when in public he'll make a point to talk to me,walk me to my car,by my drinks but then I don't see him again or talk to him again. I find this weird. That's why I'm assuming he wants to be friends only because that doesn't sounds like a guy who likes me.Sound i chuck this up to i missed out and should of asked him out back at the vip event?

I'm 18 yrs old, and I've never had a boyfriend, never been kissed, etc., mostly because of lack of interest and opportunity. The only crush I've ever had was at camp, and I never saw him again. I went to an all girls' high school (don't get me wrong, I wouldn't have done anything else for the world), and never really knew any boys, except through my brothers' and my parents' friends. Mostly boys just have the effect of making me extremely nervous, but now that I'm in college all of my friends are starting to meet boys and talk about that sort of thing, but they still just freak me out. Is there something wrong with me? Is it possible just to not be interested in dating etc? I don't have an older sister, and my best friend has a boyfriend already (for whom she has fallen head over heels, and he has done the same for her) so I don't have anybody to ask... Help?

I have been dating a guy for 2 years now and we live together. Lately we make plans to do something and I get a babysitter and then he stops by his friends house for hours. He says he is sorry and I know he isn't cheating and I am sure he just needs man time but how do I make him realize that he is hurting me ( I have tried telling him and he says hes sorry) and get him to stop doing this. It is becoming a bad habit and he thinks everything will be fine. But I am getting more and more hurt by this.

Started dating this guy a couple of months ago, since the 14th we havent gone more than two days without seeing each other, but we are not bf/gf, we do sleep together and talk, I am going out of town this week and he has been asking me if I am going to miss him and stuff like that, trying to be cute I guess. anyways he is thirty and recently divorced and I am in my twenties with a 5 year old (he has no kids) anyways it seems like he is being very careful about "getting into a relationship" we kind of talk about it and he says he likes to take his time when making decisions so he knows he is making the right one. (HE does this with EVERYTHING) so should I be offended that we are not "together" yet or does his recent divorce and the fact our relationship involves a kid and we have been friends awhile just complicate everything? He told me the other night that if he did not see this going anywhere he would not come around as much, but then why do we not have any type of commitment?

I,m in the process of ending a stagnant relationship. I live in a small town and there are not much available guys there. I really want to find a life long partner. I am tired of feeling lonely. A really good friend of mine, that I grew up with, asked me out like 4 months ago. At the time, I had just lost my dad, and I didn't want to jump into anything, and regret my decision later.
