im frinds wid alot of guys, but theres one i really like, n he likes me, he just wont admit it. i want to ask him out, really bad, but if he says no, he'll tell everyone what a dork i am. plus, we're frinds n that would be weird...so should i ask him out at all?

You've known him for a long time you say. If he says no you'll continue knowing him and being friends with him, with one less secret between you. But as you said he likes you so give yourself some credit and ask him out!

Seriously. Just ask. You don't have to think about if they say yes OR no. Its out of your hands, out of your control. All you can do is ask.
AND if you can do it and not really care if they say yes/no. Then you have mastered the skills of really sucessful dating. Confidence.
It seems like catch-22 when you are 1st starting out. How can I be confident, if I am unsure?
Think of it like this.. its like riding a bike. You start, you pedal, and more than likely you fall and perhaps scrape your knee. Do you stop, of course not. When you are ready you get back on there and try again and again. Soon you are riding that bike without training wheels. And eventually you'll look back and wonder what all the fuss was about, that was easy.
In short, don't fret about a POSSIBLE crash/burn. You just have to do it. Experience will not come without trying.

Make a move like i'm thinkin about doing. Make sure he don't got a girl first thats y i'm waiting. I think you should make a move. And screw him if he calls you a dork, just tell everyone thats how you felt before he turned into the dork by not going out with you. So if he alls your a dork boost up ur confidence and make him see what he couldn't have.

Since you're asking him out, be casual about it. Ask if he wants to catch a movie sometime, just the two of you. Take it day by day. He may ask you to do something later. If he makes fun of you, then he's not a good friend.

I would not ask him out. I would flirt a little and get him to ask me out. It is best to let him feel like he made the first move.

Well he sounds not even worth it by your description of how he will react. But who am I ? Just be blunt and tell him how you feel. Do it to get it off your chest. If he declines his loss.
