It's totally ok for you to have this desire or to fantasize about it. It's very common, especially for girls who have grown up with no consistent father figure in their lives. And there are probably plenty of men out there who would love to be with a younger woman and who would treat her with kindness and respect.

HOWEVER--if you become sexually, or even romantically, involved with an older man before you are 18, he would be breaking the law. You would put him at a horrible risk of being prosecuted as a child molester or rapist, something that would ruin his life. And any man who claims to be willing to break that law and take on that risk is not the kind of man who will treat you with love and respect.

Keep it a fantasy for the next three years, at least.

Different cultural values. I think you'll genuinely find that the attitude of a lot of men in western countries who date women 10-15 years younger than them is usually pretty impure... It makes you wonder what a grown man would want in a woman who is so much younger than him? Intellectually, it would be incomparable... you couldn't connect on the same level... and the life experience is nowhere near on-par. It's basically assumed in this society that a guy of that age couldn't genuinely find anything other than sex to attract him to someone so much younger. That being said, the older you get, the less the age gap matters. For instance, by the time you're in your 40s, it probably matters less, as it's assumed that both persons have reached a point in their lives where the playing field seems to even-out.

Of course not, the fact that you acknowledge that it's just a father figure thing tells me that you have more smarts than to do it. Why in the world would you want to be with someone who will only fulfill a missing father role. Get a big brother but don't date a guy for that reason.

Its not ok no matter how you try to justify this to yourself. I am 43 and male and the idea of hanging out with a 15 year old is sick. Don't try to convince yourself that its alright, try to seek help.

Well,,,it's not really ok at your age. That older guy could get into a lot of trouble messing around with you Honey....Right now I'd stay with guys your own age.

I think you need to ask yourself why you desire a "father figure." What is missing in your life that you need to fill that kind of void? Perhaps it may help you to speak with an adul you trust about this.

No,,that would be for the wrong reason. The person you belong with must be an equal partner who you are comfortable with,,not someone to act as a relative.
