Almost everyday when im out, i see guys that are attractive.. and wonder if they have a girlfriend (if there isnt a ring).. i would never approach a guy in that situation and ask for a number... then i think.. WHY would a guy? I would like to know if this ever happens...

there is this guy I really liked and he acted like he liked me alot,we were always together and were really affectionate with each other. Then one day he told me he liked a friend of ours and left me crushed.
On Christmas Eve he can over and told me he loves me and wants to be my boyfriend and is sorry for the way he treated me.
I still like him but i'm confused and I don't want to get hurt again.
What should I do?

Do you want your gf or ex gf to be with you to go through tough times? or do you want to go through it alone without anyone seeing tough things happened to you to maintain your "tough" image?

My ex bf is going through something traumatic, should i stay away, pretend i dont even know or send consolation emails? Which way would you prefer?

PS: after he broke up with me 2 weeks ago we havent talked. And i dont plan to start talking if it's not for this.

Note:although i do wanna get back with him, i dont want him to think i'm chasing him. I chased him back before and no good comes out of it. I want him to realize what he lost and come back himself. Please dont judge me for playing cutting off contact so he'll come back, he's very immature himself and loves to play mindgames. For example, once he called me but was all like i wanna talk to you but if you dont wanna talk, i'm fine with that too. But actually he was crazy about getting me back at that time. Ok I live in Opelousas, LA and I have a boyfriend and he lives in Lafayette, LA . We live like a few miles or two away. And we are both 17 years old and you see I dont know how to drive but my boyfirend does but he dosent have a car. So when I want to see him I have to go to my brother's house and it isn't that often that I go there for some reason's like I have to work, go to school, and sometimes I jsut dont have a way to get to Lafayette. And well I finally found a way there and so usually my my bf comes to see me and well last night he did and well it was little late when he came and well my brither and his wife got upset about him coming around that time and also they dotn even trust us enough that they dont ever really let us have time alone. So they said that I cant go to there house any more becuase of lastnight and if I cant go to there house any more then I cant see my boyfriend and I cant even go to his house becuase no one will not let me. I dont know what to do?
