Almost everyday when im out, i see guys that are attractive.. and wonder if they have a girlfriend (if there isnt a ring).. i would never approach a guy in that situation and ask for a number... then i think.. WHY would a guy? I would like to know if this ever happens...

I have... sort of... I only knew her name, and the first words I said to her were asking her to homecoming. (It was partly because her friend wanted me to ask her). Although if it's just some random person, try to at least start up a conversation before asking for numbers...
In short, yes, it does happen.

of course it happens. guys wonder the same thing. is she single or not. i have asked for a number on several occasions. not always successfully but yes it does happen
