Singles & Dating - 22 December 2006

I've recently been having these serious feelings for my boss. Lately he and I have been talking more and he's been doing a lot to assist me with giving me opportunities to help advance myself within the company, which I thought was a nice thing for him to do. But also there's been acouple times when I came into work with a snowstorm outside and he's come up to me rubbed my shoulder and said thanks for coming in before walking away. During our christmas party I noticed him sitting with some of his other friends but I noticed he would glance my way a lot during the whole night. A friend of mine told me he's not married and he didnt bring anyone to the christmas party as a date. He's 5 or 6 years older than I am, so I dont know if it would be inappropriate and I dont want things to become awkward at work when Im around him, his office is a few cubes from mine, I see him glancing my way a lot, I would like to say something but I dont want to get laughed at, what should I do?

ok my ex who i talk to a lot,we got into a fight last night and i accussed him of cheating on me and he said it wasnt true so we got it all worked out today but just now one of his friends called who just so happens to be a female and she asked me what was going on with us and she said i was telling lies about him and she wanted to know what was going on and i told her we got it all worked out because we did then she went on to say hes moving to Italy(probably a lie)and that I wont be able to talk to him any more then she started saying how nice he was and how funny he was she didnt have my number so she had to have gotten it from him..Why did he get her to call me??

well yesterday I texted jake(my almost boyfriend) once...(we have been 'talking' and went on a date, kinda) and he didn't write back.. makes sense.. I wrote him on the internet yesterday (he was logged in)... didn't write back... wrote him today... saw the thing where it says "jake is typing a message" and then it stopped and he never sent anything... WHAT"S GOING ON?

There is a cute girl in my math class and we became good friends and I eventually plan on asking her out... Hopefully she says yes... However, over this christmas break, I asked her if she wanted to hang out with me and she said yes, but was a little hesistant, as she wrote my number down and I got hers on my cell. (What does the hesitation imply?) Should I ask her out this first time that we are hanging out or is that rushing it? Also, should I go to the movies with her or just hang out at her place? I dont know what to do, I want to get back together with an ex and I think he does too but he has his doubts and his guard up. We broke up in the spring b/c we lived two hours away from each other and I am in school and Im a single mom so I am really bz but I think I really hurt him but it just so happens that I got into nursing school not even 30 minutes away from him so now I live closer and I think we could make it work but I dont thinks he trusts me b/c he does really well for himself and he told me he doesn't know what my intentions are but at the same time we have been out and have slept together since I have been here (August). Ok, a few months ago I started talking to this guy, and I started getting this vibe that he lyked me. About a week after I started talking to him for some reason I told his sister I didnt like him 'that way', he found that out. I talked to him for bout a month after that and then all of a sudden it just stopped. He broke his fone. It was after that I realized just how much I like him, I havent talked to any guys since. A few days ago I talked to his sister again and I found out that he really really liked me, that I broke his heart when I typed that. I feel horrible, I miss him so much, I really really like him. Ok so my friend is aware that I am very attracted to him, but we made a deal that we could date other people, but we could not be intimate with them, only with each other. I agreed to this kind of reluctantly because I would not like to deceive someone I am with, but I still want to be with my friend. We live about 9 hours apart and this is the reason for the "dating other people" but I just worry that something will happen that will break us apart forever. Was this a good decision to date other people for a while until we can be together more often?
