There is a cute girl in my math class and we became good friends and I eventually plan on asking her out... Hopefully she says yes... However, over this christmas break, I asked her if she wanted to hang out with me and she said yes, but was a little hesistant, as she wrote my number down and I got hers on my cell. (What does the hesitation imply?) Should I ask her out this first time that we are hanging out or is that rushing it? Also, should I go to the movies with her or just hang out at her place? I'm sort of new at this and was hoping for some solid advice, as I'm a little confused.

Wow that sounds strangely familiar. Okay, Well. Just cause she hesitated a bit doesnt mean she isnt interested. hahaha, I find myself staring off into space thinking about what my plans are before actually answering a question. Then think about how I am going to phrase it. Dont be nervous, but go ahead and call her up!!! She is probably waiting to hear from you. I wouldnt ask her out until you got to know her yet. That takes time.

Did you ask her out in public? Caus' that probably was the cause of the hesitation, and start the hangout day early. Like walk to house, take her to a dessert place and buy her ice cream. Then walk to a park and play tag, etc. Then go back to her place, I would also talk to her a few times on the phone before you hang out together, so it's more comfortable for her.

I'm a girl, so trust my advice: don't read so much into things, i read in a mag that guys hate that, well we hate it to. hesitation means that she's nervous, which probably implies that she likes you. Just ask her out the first or second time you see her, let her know you'r interested. If a guy likes a girl, she'll want to know a.s.a.p. Also, take her somewhere fun, like to a rockclimbing place, a fair, or a zoo. Adventerous guys aren't single guys.

Does she have siblings?
If so, go to movies first. you can get to know each other and then later you can hang at her house and so on to get to know the parents.

b] wasn't expecting you of all people to ask
c] couldn't believe her luck.
