i want to get my boyfriend something for christmas. he wears hoodies, so i wanted to get him a hoodie. my friends all agreed with me. but, whenever i asked him what he wanted, he said that he didn't want anything. he sounded pretty serious, too. did he really mean not to get him anything? or should i get him something anyhow? help...*

he probably means it, but in a "oh , dont bother about me, its cool " way which makes him look like a very nice guy. Just get him the hoodie,and when you give it to him say " i know you said you didn't want anything for Christmas,but I just wanted to get you this 'cos I love you" There's NO way he'll be angry about that!
And if he doesnt get you anything, dont get mad at him...it just makes you look very selfish.

He probably has no $ to buy you a present, therefore he is saying he wants nothing. A hoodie would be a great gift. Merry Christmas!

He probably doesn't know what to get you so he doesn't have anything to reciprocate with if you give him a present.
Or he has commitment issues.
You could give him a hoodie for Hanuka, not for Christmas. Depending on how religious you are or aren't.

If he kept saying that he didn't want anything chances are that he's not getting anything for you! If you want to buy him a hoodie then do so just don't be pissed if he doesn't have anything for you.
