If I knew more about you I might be able to advise you but you dont give any real details about yourself. All I can say is that life is about compromises and although it is good to remain true to yourself I have to wonder if you are in touch with your true self.
I doubt you will be alone forever but if you do want help feel free to email me thru my profile and I will do my best to advise you but I need to know more details about how you act around guys and how you relate to them.

You don't indicate your age. If you are like 17 I really would not worry too much, you likely have not been out in the world much or had a chance to meet like people.
Most people have someone who kinda likes them - the problem is that with the exception of the hottest of the hotties a lot of us always seem to want the person out of our league, while someone who we feel isn't in OUR league is the only person who likes US so it doesn't count.
I felt your way in high school, then I found out years later there were a bunch of guys who really liked me at the time but never told me. I am not a raging beauty queen - but THEY thought I was very pretty and, I guess, out of THEIR league.
Maybe try to be a little more open. You aren't overdramatic, but you might be looking at things from a singular and particular angle just right now.
HIghlight your good traits, try to be positive, even if it is in a dark humored way. One thing for sure: guys tend to run away from girls who say things like "nobody likes me." Decide YOU like you and ^*(&^( the rest. At least CULTIVATE this attitude even if you don't feel it at first.
Oh, and I woulda been called Emo in my day, if they had the term. We listened to Joy Division and wore black - same diff.

Well, with that attitude, yes you will be alone forever. But luckily time is on your side, young one. There is a place you can turn things around and turn into a totally different person.. and that place is called college. Just wait till college, you'll have a blast, meet a lot of cool people, and hopefully make a few guy friends.

I used to wonder if a guy would ever feel about me like my dad does my mom and then when I was 14 and a freshmen in high school I got asked out by a upperclassmen. Are you fat, chubby, or skinny. Now, let me tell you something. My Mom is super gorgeous nice body, pretty face, she just has a little bit of acne and acne scars when she was younger. She's 43 and she still hasn't found a guy, (she's dated lots of them), but never found the one to marry. My Mom really sad all the time about it, and I know that she will probably won't ever get married. But she'll always have her family, and that's what you have to always remember also.

Do you want to be alone? Do you like being emo? Do you like the way you dress... If you don't want to be alone... change it. go out, meet people. Go to a coffee house... pretend you're not shy... get out of your shell. I am sure you're a great person and you have a lot to offer.
But guess what? Being alone isn't THAT bad... Sometimes its best to find yourself before you find someone else.

No, you won't be alone forever. Think about it. People come and go. As you grow older you're gonna go places and meet new people. The same ones aren't gonna stay forever. There's too many people and everyone's soo different. I'm sure there's someone that would be glad to meet you =)

You cant force this kind of thing, millions of people are alone. When the time is right it will happen for you. Honeslty there are worse things you could be going through.
Dont try to hard, just relax and let it happen when its right :P
