Why do people describe themselves as being one thing and in reality they are something else......?

i have been checking his recent calls and recent dialed on his cell phone and saw a number i have never seen before. when i asked him about it he acted all defensive and said it was someone he worked with. i have even heard a girls voice in the background a few times when i called him when he was supposed to be at work. is he cheating on me or am i worrying too much?

i love my boyfriend, i havent seen him for about a month and hes not comming back until mid january. hes in vegas with his family, his mom is getting re married on the 30th. i dont know what to do for him, what to wear. weve never had sex. so i know im not going to give him that as soon as he comes back. but what special thing can i do?? should i plan out a whole day, or just a dinner should i make something for him, should we just rent out a movie, or go out?....please help me.

there is a guy who loved me a lot but i always ignored him and avoided him,, made him feel very much embarrassed in front of every one, after that he started saying others that he no more love me.but inside he had the same (love feelings for me). I have been going out with this guy for about 6 months now, and I want us to get closer emotionally. I know that guys don't generally like to admit to their sensitive side, but I know he has one and I want to get to know that part of him. He is so sweet, but he is so guarded. A friend of mine is 24, and recently a good looking, successful, genuine, rich 43-year-old guy asked her out. She finds herself attracted to him, which is weird b/c she has a boyfriend (who she's been dating for a year and a half.) She told this guy that she'll think about his offer.

I have been seeing a guy in his 30's. We went out for a few weeks and got on well but he seemed to back off. After a while I finished with him as I didn't think he was as interested in me as I was in him. I then e-mailed him and asked him if I had come on too strong or if he just saw me as a friend. He said no. I said I was looking for someone special. He sent one back saying that he felt the same. I don't get it. He hasn't rung for a week yet I get these messages. He said he doesn't have any ex or rebound issues. Should I hang around and wait for him. I thought when I finished it it was finished and now I am confused. He cancelled our last date saying he would really like to see me in the new year. I thought that was bloody cheeky and said that was fine if he wanted things that way. Then the e-mails started. It is driving me nuts. I feel like telling him to get lost and stop playing with my emotions, but I like him too much.... Any advice out there.

My boyfriend and i moved intogether bout a month ago and things were great to start with but now there are rumors going around that i'm cheating on him his friend's fiance started all of them. Met a really cool guy last night at a party -- a private work related party. We hung out together the whole time and when the place was closing, we decided to another place and keep hanging out. He blew off another holiday party he was supposed to go to after the 1st party to hang out with me. When I needed to leave (b/c it was late) he walked me to my car, and asked how to get in touch with me... so I gave him my cell #. He didn't call today, and I know guy's supposedly have this thing about not wanting to seem eager or whatever. How long does it usually take guys to call a girl they're interested in... I mean, how long should I wait before writing him off. In your honest opinion, do you think there's a good chance he'll call at all?
