ok, so i was just walking home from school and my bf and me were just talking about everything and anything. we ended up arguing bc i wouldnt make out with him and he said " well, your best friend *Marissa* would." I realized that *Marissa* was busy the same nights as my bf and i put 2 and 2 together to find out that he was cheating on me!! the only problem is that she didnt know who i was dating bc she'd think it was a lie bc hes like so hot and sweet and nice and funny and genuine and all that sh*t so i never told her his name help me!!

There is this girl I like We are both sophmores and have known each other for months and we both know we like eachother. She is mostly "anti touch " she was when I met her and for alittle while after. but we have grown closer and i really like her, but I think she will not like to hold hands or hug. I have been with my boyfriend for three years. All of our friends know each other. Well my best friend is dating a friend(Aric) of my b/f. I am always hanging out with Aric and we are very close friends. My friend is jealous of how close we are and is trying to get my b/f where he is jealous too. Does she have a reason?? Should I not be friends with the guy b/c she's dating him??

When I was hurt and d.q. during my gymnastics meet(which neither my bff or b/f could attend b/c of something else with school), Aric came up to me in the hall where me and my friend were crying and held me in his arms and said everything will be ok.

Is this too close for friends to be??
I think his friend(aric) is cute but I love my b/f. Aric is the same way. Should I stop being his friend b/c of my other friend??

This is what she reply " ask him to be friend first cause like disconnect so much, restart from friend, then i also can understand him better..
He wont feel insecure that way.. And my commitment also will go naturally..
but, the thing is, he thought its like the end...
I explained to him, but he dont listen..

OK, I have to move because Florida is way too conservative regarding interracial dating, specifically black/African-American women and white/Caucasian men, so I want to know from people "in the know" (other black/African-American women and white/Caucasian men) what are the best cities for interracial dating? What I mean by that is where can you walk down the street holding hands and not have people shout nasty remarks, where people are more open minded and where love is just that....love. Or...feel free to tell me what I am dreaming because that place does not exist in the United States!!!

I know NYC is on the top of most people's lists, but I am interested in hearing about other cities.

If somebody treats you badly during your relationship with them, would you assume that they will continue such behavior with their future partners? I just learned a man I was involved with in the past has hooked up with a new girlfriend. He treated me pretty badly, and I dumped him. But sometimes I can't shake the feeling that he's changed and is now Mr. Perfect, or Mr. Closer-to-Perfect, and for some reason it bothers me. I wouldn't take him back, he had a lot of problems, but I'm wondering how common this feeling is. Aren't our behaviors pretty hard to change unless we really focus in on them and make an effort to be aware of them?

Okay, bear with me ... there are two sections to this issue:

1. Recently, a friend suddenly stop communicating with his friends (including me) and now he only talks to his family members. The same family members have been saying that his personality has been really bitter as of late and that he never seems happy ... they don't know what to do about it.

2. This same friend also has a secret that he only told one of his best guy friends. Now that he's being anti-social, he's friend tells me the secret. The secret is that he really cares about me and doesn't know how to express it. He has wanted to ask me out for a while now but was too scared :( :( :( :(

He was only scared to ask me because he feels that I'm the one he wants to marry some day! At first, I didn't believe it but the brother of this friend kinda confirmed everything but I had to promise never to mension this to him.

How do I help him if he's acting anti-social? Will he ever admit his feelings to me?

this guy and i became friends because he asked my friend to homecoming and she said no so i started talking to him and then i started liking him we went to a dance and danced all night and he liked me back and told my friends he was going to ask me out however my friends bugged him and then he said he didn't like me anymore because i talked to him to much i only talked to him in the morings and sometimes at lunch is still like him and want to see if we can still go out and ask out myself since he hasn't i wanted to go out to lunch on a minimum day and talk to him then ask him out but idk if he still likes me should i ?

Can emotions be trusted when you are deciding whether or not to be with someone...or should you rely on your rationality? What if a person is rationally right for you but you don't have any feelings for him? What about the women who say they love a man when he beats her...is that trusting your emotions? Alright, here we go. I was dating this guy from the Navy, and he's supposed to come home in March. Well, we decided to take a break and everything, just for us to both decide if we think being in a military relationship will work for us since he is stationed in Japan. Last night at around 5:00am someone knocked at my door so I went to see who it was, and it was him!!! Standing at my doorstep, in his uniform with a huge bouquet of roses!!!! I gave him a huge hug because I hadn't seen him in over 5 months since he had gone out of the states. so we sat there in my house and we talked for a while. He told me to close my eyes and he asked me if I could picture us being together forever and growing old together. I told him I could and I asked him why and I opened my eyes and he was on the floor on one knee and had a ring in his hand! I panicked!! I told him I had to think about it....I love him alot but I'm scared that we wont work out because of all of the traveling. PLEASE give advice!!

OK so my ex- boyfriend is 25 and I'm 21. We dated for a month then HE ended it saying that he's "busy". Our relationship was very innocent, it never went past kissing cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. Neways, we both go to the same university, I'm an undergrad while he's a grad student. I was crossing the street and he called my name and we talked for a bit. So I have this guy I sleep with every once an awhile. Its casual, we were seeing each other but he ended it. Now we just have sex. So today we were talking about how just having sex with people and he told me he felt bad for just having sex with me. I told him that I let him. Anyways then I asked him if he was sleeping with anyone else mainly because of std's an all that, he said no, and asked me if i was, I said no as well.
