i have a bf of 1 yr. he used to beat me up whenever he gets jealous or mad at me. he cant control his temper. the last time he beat me he almost killed me by choking with his belt.. i wanted to leave him but i still love him.. what shall i do?

I've been divorced 10 years but I haven't dated in 8 because the last 2 guys I dated are now doing 5 & 7 years in jail. The way I see it is I have a daughter & since I for whatever reason pick losers I cannot as a good mother take the chance of picking another one. So I don't plan on dating until she's away at College. My family thinks I'm not normal but motherhood to me is my #1 priority & I can wait. Please someone tell me that I'm not weird? I get lonely occasionally but I'm really happy with my life

i rele like this guy but he has a gf at another school (no hes not lyin ive seen her) but wen he brought her to the skating party he looked totally bored and they didnt skate at all. i rele like him and i think possibly he mite like me. but we;re from like totally different worlds and his best friend HATES me and my best friend used to like him (his and my best friends are girls). i dont know wat to do. we're friends but can it ever be more than that. ...so there is this guy that Ilike a lot and he's a great friend, an excellant listener and he is the sweetest person in the world the problem is that he is a bad kisser. he's just way to aggressive and not in a good take-charge kind of way he's just bad. I don't want to tell him that he needs kissing help but for my sake and the sake of future women he's with he could use a few tips. I like guys who know what they want and all but he needs to learn to be more gentle, since he is SSSSOOOO aggressive everytime there is almost no romance when we kiss even though he is a very romantic guy and I like him ALOT. I dont want to really change him. just he's always getting psysically hurt. atleast 1 time A WEEK, he gets injured BADLY. i tell him to be careful and watch what he does. about 2 hours ago i found out he was in the hospital for breaking his knee! and last weekend he had to go there because he twisted his ankle.. seriously... how can i make him do things more careful?

last night me and my bf had our first argument (not bad after 2 months of dating) he meant to meet me after work and after standing outside for 20 mins i rang him and he said he was at work and he forgot to tell me. this upset me so we had a little argument. but a hour later he turns up at my house he said he paid his mate £60 to cover his shift as he loves me to much not come and say sorry. he then spent most of the night saying he loves me. is he just saying this because he upset me or do you think he means it.

I have recently met the greatest woman in my life. We worked together for a while and developed into very close friends. She has been married for only a short time and gets along with her husband fine and he even knows about us and is cool with it. She has openly admitted that she thinks the world of me and has even said she is closer to me than to her husband. We spend hours talking online each night and on many occasions have spent 8 hours talking about life over drinks. We come from a similar background and we get along like life-long companions. She has told me that she wishes her husband was more like me. I would never want to hurt her in anyway and have developed very strong feelings for her. Should tell her how I feel or should I take a break and walk away from the situation and risk never knowing?

Would it seem really immature or annoying to send a note to a guy you like. In this note i wouldnt tell him i liked him, but just say something like : Hey. You seem like a really cool guy. Would you ever want to hang out sometime? When you get this note you can text or call me back: (#)........or since he takes german would it be cute to write it in German and let him translate it so that there is a little mystery in it?
