I'm a male - 20 years old. I have a friend that I have been good friends with for about 4 - 4.5 years. We are best friends, but I like her as more than just that. She was dating a guy for about a year and a half.

About 4 months ago I told her how I felt. She told me that she didn't want her feelings for anyone else to interfere with her current relationship.

Her other relationship was not very serious and she broke it off about 2 weeks ago. I finally worked up the courage to ask her again and she told me that she couldn't because it would be weird and left the house without really saying anything else or talking to me about anything.

Now I'm stuck. I really like her and it will not be as easy as just accepting that we will only be friends. We are rooming for college together in Fall '07 so I don't want to ruin it - but I don't know if I will be able to be just her friend and watch her date other people again.

Please help me...

this guy is totally cool. I am attracted to his personality (we talk on the phone for hours). I see him about once a week, and i am completely attracted to his body that is all but his face. my ex dumped me on friday and told me that shes doing this cuz shes too stressed with school and stuff and that i should move on with my life but she doesnt want me out of her life fully. so i told her all or nothing and that since she picked nothing im leaving for good. she said its not that she doesnt want to be with me its that she cant handle the distance anymore so its over. after 11 months its over. im hurting so much right now. whats the point in love? why even date? why does it hurt so much?

Oh man. okay this guy i met like a couple of weeks ago (he's hot), we hooked up pretty quickly actually, and he walked over to me held my hand and we started talking. We basically kissed and cuddled all night and into the morning hours. He said to me that he didn't wanna lose me and he asked for my number, i of course couldn't resist and gave it to him. we text all week, we were going to meet up again and he said that he couldn't wait to see me again. But later that same week he messaged me from his mates phone saying that he has no credit left on his phone and that he'd talk to me later, i was like all fine with that until he stopped messaging me completely. Now i don't know what the hell went wrong, everything was going good. Now i feel like crap, i didnt think him the kinda guy who would be this cruel!. I am dating someone else at the moment but i still find myself thinking of him. How do i get over him, I just need to forget about him but don't know how, pls help!! thank you....

i guess i got a crush on this girl, and seems like she got one on me too. we r both late teenagers. and shes like acquaintance, not friend. and i know tat shes a single, but seems like she got some guys friends, which i dont care a lot

we make a lotta eye contacts, but we dont have much chance to talk to each other
i dunno if shes worth trying. i mean, her looks r average, but shes nice and caring. so probably worth trying, lol

i dont know who stare at other person first. sometimes its me, sometimes its her. and as soon as we make an eyecontact, we just look away. so i am pretty sure tat i got her hooked somehow.

Women only because they're the only ones who can read their own language...

I like this girl and we have great chemistry. We've been on a couple of dates. She has hurt someone in the past and has seen relationships end in the demise of friendships and doesn't want to go through that hardship herself.

I know that she wants a family but she says she isn't ready for a relationship now.

I completely understand her stance on this topic, but I also know that it doesn't make sense to hide for fear that something isn't going to work out, when there is a good chance that it might and something great might also come of it.

What do I do?

Also, do I continue to hold her hand? Rub her arm, leg, play with her hair? Ask her on dates?

Also, I understand, kinda:
What she's really saying is "Uh, get away from me now," or possibly "Try harder, stupid," but which one is it?

Guys, when you stare at a girl when walking pass her, do you think she's pretty?
What are the reasons why a guy might contantly look at a girl, like being able to pick herout of a crowd, and make eye contact with her...then when the girl looks at him, he doesn't look away?
When you walk pass her and stare at her, what would be the main reason? What if the girl was an acquantance, a total stranger, or a person you see once in a while around school? (Boogers don't count) I don't think he's staring at me cause of my looks because I don't think I'm pretty at all. We made eye contact three times before. The first and second time, he looked at me first, and the third time, I looked at him, looked at me for one second, then looked away.

i have a boyfriend of two and a half years, i love him alot and we have a lot of good times, but mostly we dont get along and we argue alot. im beginning to doubt if hes right for me at all, i can see us as really great friends but im starting to feel that "i love you but im not in love with you" thing coming on. recently another guy has come into my life, ive known him since high school and we've always been aquaintances, but hes been telling me how much he likes me and that he would treat me much better. hes really nice and i think he has good intentions. ive just been feeling so confused and overwhelmed by all of this and i have no idea what to do!! ive considered taking a break from my current bf and taking some "me" time to try to figure out on my own what it is that i really want. its becoming a tough decision and i dont think that it should be. am i a horrible person? ha help me out!
