I mean what if the two people are just about broken up but not quite and you two start hanging out? Does that mean it wont work because you did not wait until they were completely broken up or is that just something people say?

I would like to know this answer too. Sometimes, people meet, are attracted to one another and even though they are involved with someone else, that attraction is there and they act on it. We change over and over throughout our lives and sometimes we run into someone who we just fall for end of story. Maybe we are not even aware that something was missing in the relationship we are in until someone else comes along.

It's true.Think if he had a girl on the side that made him feel extrmely sexy and attracted in a way that you don't.If he were to start something with her, without telling you,and you had to find out through a "mutual" friend, would'nt you feel a little disrespected? Those types of situations are inspired by self centered thinking and breed negativity. And THAT is no way to start up a new relationship that stands a chance.

experience.. resentment .. premature actions.. out of a void or ego or being hurt is some of the reasons. and.. if you think about it.. if something is remotely fixable why tamper with any ones relationship. let it be done with no other factors involved as most often than not, people can and have said I wasn't really ready it was heat of the moment i was needy i dint know what i was doing.. and then they resent.. and your done. out .. a real friend will wait have respect. ya have to be friends to go forth.also the guy who broke them up etc can say well i met u and u cheated when u wasn't quite done now they don't trust U.bad karma..
