I've noticed this in a lot of guys and that is that most guys aren't extra nice to women unless they plan on getting something in return like a date or things of that sort. . .You're only nice if you plan on scoring or getting yourself a date. That's a sad fact. So I'm here to ask if there are any minorities out there: men who are nice to women even if they don't plan on getting something in return. Nice = you give compliments, you hold the door for them, you help them with stuff, you smile at them, etc. . .

I personally don't always look to score when being nice to girls. So how 'bout you? What are you like?

theres this guy named ryan i like him but i dont know if he likes me we used to be really good friends last year and talked about the most random things but this year were not friends are lockers are one away from each other and today he put a got milk sign in my locker and then took it out and he stares at me in the hallway constantly but he did call me a ***** and a goody goody does he like me or not i dont want to ask him though

ahhh. I like him a lot. and we are REALLY good friends. So today, I brought him some of his favorite candy, and he kinda acted weird about it. At first he looked at me, and then he started laughing and said thanks. Later on, he asked me why I brought them and I said it was because I knew he liked them. And he was like, "Yea, I did. They we're really good. Thank you." and then he laughed at me again. Why does he keep laughing? Is it a good thing or a bad thing?

first to all, i want to say hi, i found this page and decided to join for some advice and maybe try to help someone...
i have a girlfriend, and we dated for about 5 1/2 years. Just recently we had a fight about me having feelings 4 one of my friends. I never cheated on this girl, and even though she knows that, at the end she decided to break up with me. She tells me that she doesnt love me the way she used to. And even though she had tried to tell me about her feelings now it is to late that she cant love me again. All this took me by surprise, and i ask her to give me a chance to win her heart back but it didnt work b/c most of the times i got desperate and start asking her to love me back.
It has being a couple days since all of this just happen. She tells me she still care about me alot but the love for me is gone. I ask her if she could love me again but she doesnt know. Now she treats me like a friend and i dont know if i should keep trying or give some time to win her heart.

I met this guy through mutal friends about a month ago. He called me the day after we met... and has called or answered my calls since. A week ago he went to my hometown with me to hang out with some of the mutal friends that we had been with the night we met. While we were out that night he was into taking pictures with me and my friends, and kept finding ways to touch me. Throughout the following week he would call me on breaks from work. He called this past saturday and we talked for awhile. He told me to call him later when I got back into town. So I called him about 4 or 5 hours later and he asked if he could call me back in 20 min. It's been almost 3 days and I have yet to hear from him, and when I tried calling the next day he didn't answer? Is he clearly not interested? And why would he just not answer or call back after calling me so often prior to this?

I still like him for some reason. The reason I say I don't know if he knows I still exist is because he used to say hi to me in stuff in the hallways @ the end of 7th grade like maybe he liked me or something. You see in 8th grade I had to go to different school. Now we both go to the same high school. But that was over a year ago so he probaly forgot about me and then moved on. I still like him though. What do I do? He isn't in any of my classes this year. How can I let him know I like him without freaking him out? I don't think he has a gf. What can I do to let him know I like him? He is always with his friends in the morning, afternoons,&lunch. I want to tell him myself but I don't how. I'm shy please help. What can I do that's not writing a note&putting it in his locker or telling one of his guy friends I think he is cute? If you thought your bf/gf had a mental illness that wasn't being treated (or was being ignored altogether), how would you convey your concern and suggest they get help? I care A LOT about this girl, we've dated for some time now, but, looking back, I have always known there was something odd about the way we relate to each other. I think I know what is REALLY going on (though she hasn't told me; she may or may not know herself). I do respect her privacy, but I also care for her a lot, so I am torn about what to do. Half of me says to let her come to her own conclusions while the other half instinctively knows she will just continue to blame herself for the disintegration of our relationship b/c of this potential condition and, therefore, am almost willing to let her hate me (for bringing this to her attention) in the hopes that she will eventually agree w/ me (even if she never talks to me again) and get the help she needs. What would you do?

i asked him if he still loved me and he said yes,
and I asked him if he was still "in" love with me and he said yes, and I then asked him do you still want to be with me, and he said "I dont know"...
what does this mean...

i really really like this guy.i cant stop thinking about him.i think hes the one!we are only seeing eachother casually,we have only kissed,yet he wont ask me out on a date!he says he likes me etc etc.i did end my 6 year relationship 8 months ago which he knows about.he does ask about my ex so i dunno if thats got something to do with it.

I'm awful sorry if this is a weird question, but here's my situation:
This year, we have an end-of-the-year dance.
This year, boys are starting to ask out girls.
This year, everyone is getting their first kiss.

I try not to run with the crowd, although I've had boyfriends, and I know love is a beautiful thing. Unfortunately, with my luck, I probably won't have such a good catch, because I'm considered a study-freak, an acne-face, and a girl-who's-like-never-gonna-get-a-boyfriend. Anyone out ther can cheer me up? Is love really all that great? Is there any chance I can find someone to love by the end of this year? Any stories that will prove your point? Please, I'm asking this form the heart, because it feels horrible to see everyone else hooked up and experiencing the magic of a love that will last forever in their hearts. Serious, don't say anything mean or unreasonable, I'm feeling lonely. Thank you.

M friend introduced his brother to me a few months ago, and since
then I see him sometimes around school, and sometimes he goes by my
mom's
classroom to wait for his brother after school. He always talks to me
when he goes. The other day he asked me what I wanted for Christmas and
he was fidgeting with a [Starbucks]apron he was wearing, then he asked
if I liked Starbucks. I had been to Disney few weeks earlier, so he

I am despressed.

I live in Scotland. I love living in Scotland but I sometimes think moving to another country will be better for me.

Then I understand that running away won't help anything.

I am lonely, I want a girlfriend but I can't fit in with groups.

I don't like seeing women kissing other women in public places.

I am worried about STI's so I am almost desperate to ask women to get checked.

They could be the sweetest person but all I think is "are you infected"

I would use condoms for intercourse but may not for oral sex (giving or taking)

I have a really bad heart problem, so I can't be around smokers and I don't like people getting drunk because I can't protect myself.

I get chest pains when I fight and the other guy does not know that so they keep throwing punches.

I take offence easily and I tend to tell people there faults as a way of defense.

I am the type of person who is scared people talk about me or are going to ignore me.

Say you have a crush on a direct superior, say a teacher or boss... They are your age, you have loads in common, and if you had met somewhere other than school or work, you would totally fall for them. But that relationship was going to end soon, class was coming to an end, or you were transferring to another department, is it OK to then pursue your feelings, or do they remain off limits forever?
