I'm awful sorry if this is a weird question, but here's my situation:
This year, we have an end-of-the-year dance.
This year, boys are starting to ask out girls.
This year, everyone is getting their first kiss.

I try not to run with the crowd, although I've had boyfriends, and I know love is a beautiful thing. Unfortunately, with my luck, I probably won't have such a good catch, because I'm considered a study-freak, an acne-face, and a girl-who's-like-never-gonna-get-a-boyfriend. Anyone out ther can cheer me up? Is love really all that great? Is there any chance I can find someone to love by the end of this year? Any stories that will prove your point? Please, I'm asking this form the heart, because it feels horrible to see everyone else hooked up and experiencing the magic of a love that will last forever in their hearts. Serious, don't say anything mean or unreasonable, I'm feeling lonely. Thank you.

Love is a fantastic and amazing thing, but it comes at different times for different people. There's no telling when you'll find someone. You've just got to wait, and let it happen. Good luck =)

I went to my 10 year high school reunion 8 years ago (the 20 year is coming up). What I want to share with you is that all of those awkward, study-freak, unpopular kids turned out just fine---great, in fact. Most were married or in long-term relationships. ALL of them looked great. They just peaked later than some others. From where they were in junior high and high school, there was nowhere to go but up.

Those others...the ones who peaked in junior high or high school, got all the dates, had the early love realtionships, etc.....they looked nearly the same, just older. Same hairstyles and similar fashion even. Many had already been married and divorced. Most were declining in appearance as they aged. They peaked too early and there was nowhere for them to go but down.

That may not help you this second, but the message I have for you is that you have nowhere to go but up, there is someone for everyone, it'll happen to you when it's right, and people who hit their peak cannot also hit it later....But YOU still have that to look forward to.

Oh, girl.
The love that is happening in these high schoolers' hearts is not going to last forever...
Really. I can imagine how you feel right now, but I think you WILL find someone who loves YOU and understands YOU, you just need to be patient.
Good luck, hun!

did you ever hear the story of the ugly duckling....soon you'll turn into a beautiful swan and have to beat the boys away with a stick...as far as falling in love with someone don't rush it it will happen when it happens if you rush it you might settle for someone you don't really want
