Singles & Dating - 29 November 2006

We've been together for 4 years and I feel that I have gotten him everything I can think of. Anybody got any ideas of what I should get him this year or do?

okay this is pretty whacky to do but, I just would like to get a wider horizon on this issue. I truly am stuck and do not know which guy to choose to date. Guy "A" is my exboyfriend of 2 years (2 checkered years of up and down), we've been seperated for several months now and he wants us to try again. He truly is a great guy, very caring and loving, he has a big heart, but he just doesn't quite do it for me. I love him but I'm not in love with him, you know?! Next is guy "B", now I just met him a few months ago and I don't know much about him, but to me he's new and refreshing, and no I don't see the same big heart in him as with guy "A", but he is sincere and he does give my heart an extra beat (but I'm sure that's only because things are always sweet and exciting in the begining LOL) anyhow I need help, do I stick with what I know and learn to love; or do I risk it and take a chance on a possible new love?

So I ran into an ex-boyfriend of mine from a few years back the other night at the bar and we started talking. When the bars closed I invited him and a few other friends back to my place. While there he confessed to me that he "still loves me" and "made a mistake letting me go" and that he wants to "try again". I was a little shocked because he was the one who ended the relationship in the first place. He wanted an answer right then and there and I told him I couldn't give him one that very second. I said I wasn't ruling anything out but also not ruling anything in. We never fought, have the same friends and get along great. The reason he broke up with me is because someone put some horrible words in my mouth and he reacted the way anyone would in his situation. Once he realised the truth he felt it was to late to make things better and "let me go".

He is a wonderful person but I don't know if it is s good idea to get back together with an ex.

What do you say?

We have been good friends for years, but lately, she told a group of little girls that I am her boyfriend. She then told me what she had done later, and kept saying "Isn't that sooo funny?" The thing is we talked about being more than friends about two months ago, and we decided to stay friends. I told her she was my type which is why we got along so well. me and my girlfriend been together about a month, we fight alot but we aways get through it, the thing is it always seems ike i am apoligizing. I never get mad at her because i fear a break up, but she gets mad easily and seems like if we broke up it doesnt phase her. I like this guy and I'm pretty sure he likes me but he hasn't approached me. My friends keep telling me that I have to be the aggressor with this particular guy. But I just don't feel like putting in the effort. In every relationship I was in, I had to be the agressor. I'm tired of being the aggressor. I want someone to come after me for a change. I do want to be in a relationship but like I said I don't want to put in the effort.

All this advice about moving on from one relationship to another doesnt' seem to be working. Me and my Ex have been apart for over 7 months now, I've dated other people, I even have a Girl friend, but every day my thoughts are crowded by my Ex and how much i Miss the little things about her. My head wants to move on to the next chapter in my life by my heart wants to go back :( any other advice?

When I am soft I am reall REALLY small. But when hard it is plenty big...not huge but not lacking. It way more than doubles in size and width. I get imbarrassed when its soft and try to cover. Do I really need to be worried? What would you think of it if I were your b/f? Would you laugh at me ? Would you care?

I think freedom...i am a bit of a free bird myself and dont like to feel caged,restricted or trapped...my idea here is that if you allow someone to be the person they are without imposing rules and restrictions on them then if they stay and if it works then it is because you are both happy where you are...when you impose rules etc on people surely half the time people only behave a certain way because they feel they must...and that grates...what do you think?

...i am speaking generally but in particular think about fidelity issues as despite the restrictions that society and couples place on each other the statistics show that an extroadinary number of people are unfaithful...men and women...;0)

ok theres this guy he likes me and i like him. he asked me to be his girlfriend but then we kind of broke up becuase he smokes and he said that we wants to wait untill he quits because he does stupid things when he's high and he doesnt wanna hurt me because he doesnt wanna loose me. so now were benefits(kinda like going out, like we act like were going out) but today hes been flirting with alot of girls saying that he's going to have kids with them and stuff. and everytime he does this he looks at me alot. why is he doing this? is he trying to get me jealous or something? i am soo confused i feel like crying...please some good advice.

Im gna be 16 on monday n i jus recently got into a relationship with a guy 8 years older than me, n my mum found out his age n told me to end it, but we have become very attatched to each other n i really dont want to end it, neither does he, n i dont wanna go behind my mums back, so i dont know wat to do...

If a guy friend that used to like you tells you he doesn't like you anymore but gets mad at you when you don't call or go see them... I think he is full of sh*t and says that so he can convince himself of that.

I really like this guy, but he lives 3000km away. I would love more then anything if it were possible for something to happen, but I just don't think it can. He can't move here because of his work, and I can't because of school. It hurts to much to think about us not working, but I just can't deal with it anymore.
