All my life, I've been the guy that girls turn to for help. I'm different from the other guys from my school, because I'm a gentleman to girls, I write poems for them and sweet things. However, I've been rejected and always got the "I only see u as a friend" speech. Do I have to be a complete asshole to get a girlfriend, what should I do? Sucks being lonely...

I've been dating my boyfriend for six years. He is my best friend. We have grown into mature adults and I am now 21. Since we have been dating since we were young, we haven't learned to grow older together, in other words, the gifts we still exchange are acceptable for high school dating, but now that we are older I would like a more serious committment. Don't get me wrong, we laugh, we talk, we do everything together, but I just feel he doesn't show me in the little ways most boyfriends do, that he cares about me and loves me. For example, I always pay for my dinners, movie tickets, everything I think that a man should at least sometimes pay for, I PAY FOR. it irrates me. I have talked about it with him and I have given him hints about how a girl recieves flowers at work but still, NO FLOWERS. nothing. What should I do? I want this to last but I don't want to be 26 years old and still feel like I'm in a "Puppy love" relationship. HELP!

sometimes he will talk about other girls like last night we went to a dance and today he got to talking about it and he was like there was one girl out there who was really shakin'her a*ss and he was just describing her and talking bout all these other "hot" girls and crap and it was makin me really mad but i didnt want to be mean... i was like theres something i could say right now but im not gonna say it...he begged me to tell him but i wouldnt i was gonna say theres a lot of hot guys out there and i dont talk about them do i?
i mean he told my sousin to her face taht she was hot and i was standin right there!!!
what do i say to let him know that that bothers me???

Here's the situation - I like this girl, I asked her out, she said yes but brought a friend along. She also always has this other guy's screen name on her away message, he's always telling her she's nice or something. I want to ask her out again, but should I? and should i request that it be with her alone this time? Or did she make it clear that she didn't like me?

I want to buy her something for the holidays, maybe impress her. What's a good present for a 14 year old girl (I'm 14 too, don't get any bad ideas lol)? I want to get her something meaningful, and not too expensive (not that its the money thats the problem, i just dont want to scare her or anything). Also, note that I'm not sure if she's even thinking about getting me anything. I hope she is, but if she's not.....

What should I do? What should I buy?

My girlfriend of 2 years cheated on me 8 months ago. I was devastated. I was hurt and most of all really angry. Even though we are still together not a day goes by that I dont think about it and that it hurts me. I always have this questions going around my head. Mostly a lot of why's? Why did she do this to me? Why did she lied to me? Why didnt she respect me enough to just to be truthful to me and tell me the truth? Why? Why? She never answers my questions, mostly is like she wants to leave it in the past but I cant. How can someone tell you they love you, when they are loving someone else? Now I am really angry. I find myself with no patience for her. Sometimes I get so angry that I pick fights with her just to scream at her. I dont really know if I love her anymore or just dont want to be alone. I dont believe anything that comes out of more and dont have any respect for her as a person, woman or anything. I care for her and sometimes I find myself just planing my revenge.

Ok I have been going out with this guy for a while. He says he really like me but im not sure. Ive never dated anyone like him before. Ive always like smart guys and we had at least a couple things in common. The guy im dating now is not academically smart, and he doesn't have that much common sense either. I like him but i don't love him and he says he loves me and im wondering if im holding back because im being snotty or something. Like i know that no one is "better" than anyone else, but ive always pictured myself with somone a little more.. well.. sophisticated i guess. I mean we have kissed and stuff and it seems like he really likes me and i think he thinks i don't like him. Ive had to reassure him a couple times. Do you think i should break up with him? I don't want to, i want it to last but im not sure if it has the potential.

I don't have a bf, but there are some guys that have made it obvious (in social settings) that they like me. Well, I have a couple of guy friends that like to tease me by calling any or all of these guys my bf(s). Because 2 different guys do this in 2 different areas I've lived I'm just curious as to why they say that? Are they jealous or do they just like to hear me say I don't have a bf so they can laugh at me..... or are they just trying to have some fun by teasing me....... or do they say it because they think I'm just a big flirt.....???? next step meaning asking me to be his mrs. ok so this girl liked me back in highschool and i rejected her. She's a pretty girl and stuff. I ended up liking her a year later and told her I wanted to **** her and then she kept on ignoring me for a long time... I stopped for a bit and now we're starting to talk like normal....I dont know what it is but i really like her now and i told her to invite me over so i can **** the **** outta her and she said yes lol. He is a very outgoing person (he likes giving girls hugs) but whenever he sees me he gives me a hug and he also gives me a really really long hug. He never used to give me hugs before. He also sat with me for the whole time at a school fuction, and he was always laughing at my jokes.
One other complication: hes my friend's ex-boyfriend (she broke up with him a month or two ago)

I think that I'm a pretty terrific girl, with lots to offer in a relationship. But, it seems like every time I become interested in someone, they either cheat, or have a girlfriend/wife already. I'm really busy, so I find that dating online works for me (or doesn't work) and I also date primarily black men (I'm white). Does the medium I use have anything to do with it? Do most black men cheat (I hate to stereotype, but it's been the standard with me)? I don't know what to do besides remain single the rest of my life because I am really tired of being hurt. Some women like to share their man, I'm not that woman. Any suggestions??

My boyfriend and I have been dating for over a year I recently found out that he dated another girl in the very begining of our relationship. He had lied to me early on in the relationship about until I confronted him then he came clean told me he was scarred to tell me the truth because he was affraid of loseing me. I love him very much and I know that he is a good person and everyone around me thinks he is a good guy. I am hurt by it but I am trying to move on is it possiable for us to make this work?
