All my life, I've been the guy that girls turn to for help. I'm different from the other guys from my school, because I'm a gentleman to girls, I write poems for them and sweet things. However, I've been rejected and always got the "I only see u as a friend" speech. Do I have to be a complete asshole to get a girlfriend, what should I do? Sucks being lonely...

I know if sucks to be alone! Don't worry about it, my best friend has the same problem with guys. All the guys she likes tell her they see her more as a friend, or a sister even. I just say don't try as hard, don't give up but don't let that be the only thing on your mind. As for the whole having to be an asshole to get a girlfriend, that is just a phase we girls go through it'll pass. I know how you feel too, but I now have a great relationship with an awesome guy! It'll happen for you, maybe sooner then you think!

You are product of what women think they want. American men have changed just for those perceived beliefs and expectations. The truth is Men have not changed for 25 thousand years, just you and several thousands more decided this just to go along with the game and see if you get the prize. The day a women changes you the way they want you, they don't want you anymore. They admire and respect you the way you are. DON'T CHANGE. You don't have to be a a$$ whole or a jerk, just be the way that comes natural to you. You don't want a relationship because it is not about her game. Think about it you are a visitor in the house of love, sex and friendship. Given the way some women are you have to take the attitude that a warrior is prepared to live alone. The true relationship you have is with your father and your guy friends who will boost and egg you on. Find a woman who knows these truths about men and who will give you the space and love you need instead of changing you and attacking you with an axe at midnight to perform brain surgery. Once they start to dress you it's........

I know what you mean. It seems like the girls go for the asshole types and then you know what happens. They're lives are screwed up. I cant beleive it either but it is true. Dont be an asshole keep being what you are. Only the strong survive in these situations. You will find somebody and they will be attracted to you through a relationship that you want. Just be yourself and dont think what other people think of you. They are just jealous of you.

It has absolutely Nothing to do with you being too nice. Take a lot at your 1:appearance 2:dress code 3:personal hygiene - and - Are you 1: one of the guys 2:a social outcast 3: the nerd of the group Now when you figure all that out, start being Who you Are instead of What you Are. Don't always be there - take time off - tell your "friends" to figure things out for themselves, you can! Get involved in something that YOU like and make new friends and acquaintances - not everyone will view you like you view yourself. Good Luck - now go do it!!!

As a woman, I've seen my friends reject, again and again, the Nice Guy, the Sane Guy, the Worthwhile Guy in favor of some brainless thug who mistreats them. The good thing is that these same women usually change their minds after being treated badly by too many of those neaderthals, so that by the time they really ARE ready for a real relationship, they are worth YOUR time.
Just be patient, k? Don't let this make you bitter.....

No one is a gentleman anymore....
Don't be obnoxious to girls because it will only end it a long set of short relationships with girls that just aren't worth the minute of your day. Keep the way you are and you will find that sweet girl of your dreams and have LOOOONNNNGGGG relationship with her and it will be much better.... you probably have a secret admirer that is too shy to talk to you, so stay nice and maybe she will ask you out one day!! :]

When the time is right the perfect girl will appear and you will know that she is the one. Is girls are coming to you for advice about guys that is a clear sign that they are not interested. Have faith your still young you will have at least 10 girls before you find the one.
