Singles & Dating - 16 November 2006

Has anyone else noticed the ratio of guys asking questions to girls who have no clue about guys? Aren't girls supposed to be much better at this sort of thing than guys? All of the girls who post questions here are so utterly clueless, and yet girls tend to make fun of guys in that they supposedly know nothing about women.

I hope this question made as much sense as it did in my head....

i play drums in my music class . it is pretty fun but i get tired of standing , and also i do not like playing drums anymore. there are other instruments such as clarinet . flute , french horn , tuba, trombone, trumpet and alto saxaphone. should i change my instrument . please . help me here will u?

I would like my boyfriend to be more adventurous. He's great at what he does, don't get me wrong, but I would still like there to be some variety on the way we make love. we started dating in pretty much mid november of 2004 and officially started dating on Jan 4, 2005. on Jan 1st 2005 Matt cannon was at her house for new years she said she was flirting with him(two years later) and i show up later that night and she told me that was when she realized that she loved me cuz im not like the other guys.... the next day she calls me hey can i go to the movies with matt and i of cours said yes cuz i trusted her and i also didn't know that her and matt had ever messed around with each other. so they go to the movies where she kissed the guy and never found out till just the other day. She has messed up many more times w/ guys nothing to serious tho and has pretty much lied to me about talking to anyone ever. I have been pretty mean to her but **** this sux. She told me everything but i only found out by asking the guy straight up and then she finally confessed everything. should i stay with her? she's gave me her password to everything even cell phone.

I'm 25 I asked a guy out on Thursday and he said "i'm busy how about you come to my house and watch dvd on friday instead". Now since i made the first move to ask him to do something do i wait for him to call or should i give him a call at lunch time and ask what time he wants me to come over? im just curious. well im a single mom im 23 years old, and sometimes i find myself wondering if i did wrong in not waiting, if thats the cause for not finding the right guy? i love my son to death and there is nothing i would change about it. ok this is part 2 of my story..........i told yall about how my man doesnt work and has not for a year...........well he and my daughter got into it because he talks to me any kind of way and only she and i work and pay the bills. she is 21 ........im 43 and he is 54. he smokes crack...........well two days ago he and my daughter got into arguement and almost a fight.....the cops were called and they ran his name and found out he had a warrent for petti larency........i end up going to jail that night to because i had some unpaid traffic tickets... i knew that i might have warrent because i hadnt been paying on my fines so when my daughter called the cops i hid in the closet.........but the thing is he told the cops my name and were i worked....and this is how they end up running my name........so my questions is.............shouldnt i just leave him because it seems he doesnt care because he told the cop about me having a warrent? ...............................

Blame it on hormones, adolescence, my atmosphere, whatever--since I started high school at my all-female prep school this fall I have become totally boy-crazy. I know, I know, I should preserve my youth and all of that. Still, it would be nice to at least know some boys, since I haven't really had many male friends and I therefore lack in that type of social skill. :).


So anyway, how would I go about meeting them? As I said, I don't really have any male friends right now, so I can't just go and hang out with a friend's friend. It's slightly confusing. Advice, anyone?

Anyone ever felt like giving up on guys, that now and days all they are after is sex. When they find someone great they just either no chemistry or many other issues. Why is it easier for some girls to get guys and for some not so easy, you know and you have been told you are an attractive person, and down to earth, then why is it still hard to find a decent guy???

There is a girl that liked me, she asked me for a dance which I refused. I was so silly to have done that. She told me that she broke up with her BF. I took that as a sign to pursue her since I liked her but her BF was the reason I backed off and shyness too.On the first 2 dates, we didn't kiss. On the 3rd date however, I kissed her.
