I did the same when I was 17. When I was in college and 19-20 ish I couldn't believe that 21 year old guys would date 17 year olds because it's like two different worlds. Most of the guys I knew at that age were in college partying and all about having sex. Which makes you wonder why they would date 17 year olds. Makes you think.

Anyway, lets say this guy isn't in college and is working etc. ..still it makes you wonder why he'd be interested in hanging around the whole high school world. Maybe the 17 yr old is mature and in college already...(like I was)..it's still better to date other freshmen or guys your age. Why? Because why be in a rush to date older guys anyway..you'll have plenty of time to do that.

Date your peers..keep it light..keep it fun. Getting serious right away is overrated..keep your options open is what I say!

I suppose so, but you have to wonder about a 21 year old guy who wants to go out with a 17 year old girl.

Its totally all right, if your at the same mentality level, once I was sixteen years old and my boyfriend was twenty seven, it didn't work out because a lot of people wont approve of it. But I've learned don't listen to what people tell you, listen to your heart!!
