Singles & Dating - 13 November 2006

First you guys need to know some things about this girl... she is my ex for one. We broke up in late Aug. and have decided that its not a break up... but rather a break apart. Well we tried to get back together a couple of times and we both felt it was too soon. (BTW, she considers Dating, being in a relationship)
With that in mind, we pretty much started dating... so, if thats the case... Why is she telling people that we are still broken up? Maybe I'm reading into this too much, but we were together for 2 years so I know her pretty well. If dating is so serious for her, should I confront her about it? I just don't know what to do...

Is there really any chance of waiting out a commitment phobe? She really does love me, I can see it in her eyes when she tells me, but as close as we seem to get, she shies back away just as far. Anyone else ever been through this? I love her free spirit and all, but what the hell? I need to know she's in it a little. (Dating for about 6 mos, she's gotten distant last 3 or so)

what would you say if your brother got with a virgin did the nasty and she wants to get married to your brother and they haven't been together but for a year. He told you that he likes her, but that's it. would this be a mistake? my brother has never had a serious relationship and this is the longest one. My SO left his emails on MY computer when he left for work. He has an ex-lover that he had promised me he would not be in contact with anymore last March. I perused them this past Sat. when he left his emial wide open on my computer, because I was curious if he had really stopped the correspondence, calling and visiting. In the emails I found that he hadn't. He says he's sorry, shouldn't have made a promise like that, "nothing" is going on...they're just friends, and that I'm out of line reading them and jealous. I think he's deceitful and dishonest. Obviously, things are not going well.

Ok, here is my problem. I dated this guy back in high school but I broke up with him after about 7 months, this was almost 7 years ago and I can get him out of my head to this day. I am so madly in love with him that all of my other relationships have failed. There is no way for us to be together because he has a live in girlfriend that he has been with for about 4 years now.

How do I move on and get over him when I am so in love??

i need to get out of the city i'm living in right now because it is driving me crazy!!! i have money saved up and would love to move out of here but if i do, it would mean leaving the most amazing man i have ever met. i love him and he wants to move as well, but not for another five years or so. sometimes i don't think i can wait that long. we have been together for about a year and he has hinted at proposing to me next year. i dont even know if i want to marry him, though, i'm very unsure about commitment and the idea of being single doesn't bother me too much but i would still rather be with him. moving somewhere else would make me very happy but is leaving him behind worth it??

A few weeks ago my bff told me that my ex bf's crush told him that I'm trying to ruin his life. All I did was ask my bff to call him and ask him why he really dumped me. And then my other friend told my ex bf off. And my ex bf told my bff never to talk to me again and he said that he wanted to emotionally hurt me. Today in Math class my ex bf's crush comes over to my desk asking me about what my bff told me and then she also told me that she kissed my ex bf and that there friends with benefits now. What the heck is up with him? All the phone calls happened a couple of months ago and the whole me trying to ruin his life happened a couple of weeks ago. So when will this blow over? And will everything go back to normal again?

imagine planning a beautiful evening with your guy. You buy gold plates / glasses/ candles make a appeteizer. Plan a pineapple bath. While in the tub you tell him you purchased a Harley without his input. He ends it with you the next day because he's mad over it. Tells you , you can drive all over town with your gold plates and _ _ C _ who ever you want! and that you think your _ _ _ T doesnot stink! why do people turn this way? I cannot even describe how I feel. we have also been together for two years and she didnt start acting like this until her friends started to get married and i forget a birthday x2 the actual day wasnt sure of. i am shy so dont talk alot and she has stated that this is part of the problem. she also has a three year old son from previous marriage. withch i was with her before she was fully divorced.

ok here is the thing...this guy and i have been hangin out w/ the same friends for almost two years now well just bout 3 weeks ago i msgd him on facebook just said hey well we ask me for my yahoo messenger name so i gave it to him...well since then we have been talkin...well that 1st weekend he came to town and hung out w/ me and one my friends..the next weekend he had some plans friday night but saturday night he told me he was gonna come and sit in town w/ me well he ended up inviting me to go to eat w/ him and some friends said he really wanted me to go...he told my friend that he likes talkin to me...he calls me cupcake and buddy all the time...he has been sendin me text msgs all the time...everyone has been asking me what is goin on b/t us and so i asked him and he said rain check well he told me the next day to tell everyone we were gettin to know each other...what do yall think does he like me??? will n-e thing happen??? hes the sweetest guy ever...i do like him

I am 16, and I have never been. I guess you could say my friends and I am the nerds in my grade. But I don't care, I have good friends, none of us do drugs or party or any of that other wild stuff. I have really good friends. All my life adults are always telling me I will be pressured by my peers but I am already 16 and still haven't. a really shy and kind of inexperienced guy (which is adorable in my opinion) and i hooked up this past weekend. we saw each other today and it was kinda awkward but he was trying to talk to me (except that hes so godd amn shy!!).. and then i gave him a ride home and we didnt bring up the kiss or anything..

but im wondering whats going on in his head? i mean, he and i had a great night.. and keep in mind hes this shy innocent boy so hes not "playin me" haha. (believe me, this kid is like the extreme opposite of a player) so i dont necessarily expect him to ask me out or make any moves or anyhting..

my questions are, what si going on in his head, do you think? and also, what can i do to move things along? i think we could be great together, or just good friends or whatever..
