what should i give my boyfriend of 9 monthes for his birthday. He means alot to me but ... im kinda broke so i can only go so far to buy him something ... i want to give him something that will make him feel special, like a king you know .. and to show him i love him with all my heart ... please help!

All a guy wants from his girl is to know that she still loves him really, thats all i ever want...materialistic stuff only goes so far, get something for him to remember u by.....maybe get cute picture of you all together and frame it and get him a shirt or something. If hes a bf of 9mo. u prob mean alot to him.......it wont matter what you get him, just make sure u get him something so he knows u still care.

On a Budget but thoughtful:
Make a card for him. Make a cake for him.
If you can cook, make him dinner.
What does he like doing?
Is he a funny sort of guy? Then do something silly like those fake newpaper front pages with a funny picture of him.
If you are sleeping together, then get into his house while he is out, and wrap yourself up in ribbons and wait for him on his bed.

I disagree with the hotel room idea... because wouldn't that be expensive?
I suggest making him something (like a card, cake..something from you) and take him to a place he likes to go..somewhere busy and full of life. Go to a store like Sephora and let him put makeup on you, even if he puts weird color eye shadow on you. Let him spontaneously pick out a treat at a cafe or coffee shop at night. If you are not shy you can go to a Kareoke bar and sing a song in front of him. You may feel slightly embarassed but he would probably love you for it. You can go to a club and dance with him..wear something sexy.
If he likes riding bikes/hiking..take him to a place you feel is beautiful.
You can always surprise him at home too, but he would probably feel even more loved if you take him out.
If you have mutual friends with him, you can try to arrange a dinner with them and split the cost...but.. if you are going for something more romantic, just hang out with him yourself.
He has been with you for 9 months so he must adore you already..don't stress out.
This might sound nerdy, but get out a piece of paper and make a list of ideas that you like..figure out which ones you can afford to do.

go some where special for a picnic,provide food and wine, some music and whatever else comes to mind. A way to a mans heart is thru his stomach.
