The girl (23) is very mature for her age, a college grad, has a good job... has been through alot in life... always lived w/father so is def not seeking a parent wants a family one day and a loving man.
The guy (43) chose the career path after the military in hopes he'd find a wife somewhere along the way... women he'd been with cheated.. he took time to figure himself out and what he wanted and focused on work. now owns a house and has a good stable job and wants a family.
they both agree on many things, life, children, relationships, love, have some of the same friends... The girl is friends with his mother and two brothers, helped move him into his home and set up/organize it. There is a flirtation between them nothing more than friendship... the girl wants to wait till marriage or engagement for sex and the guy knows this... could this become a good relationship/marriage?

So basically I had a girlfriend and we dated for about 6-7 months... we were really good then my jealousy issues got in the way when she started hanging out with my best friend even though there wasnt really anything going on... its been about 3 months since we've spoken but I REALLY like her a LOT! and im wondering how I could possibly talk to her again so she can see how much ive changed since we've broken up. Any suggestions?

I'm dating this guy that I like a lot. Well we didn't talk or email all weekend, but I sent him an email today, just a short cute one, and my email just said he read it, but he didn't respond! Is this a sign he doesn't like me anymore? Or is he maybe just busy and is going to respond later? Am I overreacting?

My ex boyfriend and I were together for 6 years before we broke up. We have been broke up for a year now, he has had 2 kids while we were together and now he has one on the way with another woman. He gets mad when I tell him that i'm dating someone else, even went as far as getting physical with me. I tell him to leave me alone, i've even called the police on him and he still won't leave me alone. He broke things off with me and now im just trying to move on with my life but he keeps popping up in the picture. Why won't he leave me alone?

Today on MSN he told me that he loves me with all his heart. And we've only been daiting for 3days. My girlfriend and I have been going out for more than a year and a half now. 2 months ago, I had to relocate to another city for my studies which is 2 hours away by plane, and because it's too expensive to go back every weekend (or even once a month) and I have too much studying to do, I've only seen her once (a 5 day break) in the past 2 months and most probably will continue to see her 5-7 days every 2-3 months for at least 10 more months (beyond that is uncertain). Recently she's been getting a bit depressed, and I suspect the long-distance nature of our relationship is partly the cause of it.

Now here's the question: I wanted to order her some plants, white orchids to be precise, but then i don't know jack s*** about flowers and there were just too many types of white orchids with a wide price difference. My question is, what do you think I should get her to perhaps cheer her up except for plants and teddy bears?! (flowers are useless, as they die).
