i want to move but that means leaving him...?

i need to get out of the city i'm living in right now because it is driving me crazy!!! i have money saved up and would love to move out of here but if i do, it would mean leaving the most amazing man i have ever met. i love him and he wants to move as well, but not for another five years or so. sometimes i don't think i can wait that long. we have been together for about a year and he has hinted at proposing to me next year. i dont even know if i want to marry him, though, i'm very unsure about commitment and the idea of being single doesn't bother me too much but i would still rather be with him. moving somewhere else would make me very happy but is leaving him behind worth it??

Other people are not going to bring you happiness. Only you can do that through your choices. Whatever it is about the town or city you're in that's keeping you from being happy isn't going to go away just because of some guy. Not to mention, about the most abundant luxury in this world is the opposite sex. Which is to say, there are plenty more guys out there and yes, the one you are with now is not the ONLY one you are compatible with.
