I told my close female friend how I felt about her, she said we'd never be together-not what I wanted to hear.We have a very close+intense friendship,spend a lot of time with each other,constant touch,trust,care bout etc She can't imagine me not being in her life/a part of it.
I'm finding this hard to accept as i believed we would get together 1 day. I've not spoken to her for 5 days now(feeling guilty,as she has txt asking why I've gone quiet)I'm not sure what to do?

I seem to be questioning the friendship as the reasons for us not going further was that:we are complete opposites,different views on sex\relationships,I keep winding her up,we give each other headaches,it wouldn't work out,wouldn't feel right for her,its just me-meaning?

Why are we friends then?How cud we have got so close and not go further?

Solutions, ideas?What should I do?

We did contemplate sleeping together(1 night stand)but she said it wouldn't feel right,it'll be wrong-so we r atrracted to each other

II am feeling sad, and you know how when you are upset you just reach out to someone who you think may be able to throw some light on the subject.
My BF asked me to marry him over a year ago. I really felt in love with him, but am not used to moving fast on something that is this important. We are, however, 56 and 62 years old. He was so enthusiastic that I felt enthusiastic, too.
My only concern is my son. It is important that he get through school, and after such a horrendous experience with his dad, my ex (He was bipolar and an alcoholioc) another man close in the picture might hinder his schooling. My BF did not seem to emotionally understand that. Intellectually, he knew it, but emotionally he hated it. We have had ups and downs throughout our relationship, but seem to have gotten past them, although his anger I find distressing. We could get together when my son was through with school this year. Now, he just wants to date. This seems like a step backwards to me.

Theres this one girl i go to school with and we are good friends. I like her alot but im not really sure if she likes me. Sometimes it seems like she likes me but im not sure if she does or not. I was married for 7 years to the man of my dreams, who cheated on me. I have been dating someone for a year and a half, and really trust him. I love him, but want to date around before "settling" because I really don't know if he's the person I want to spend my life with....I'm such a talker and he's just not. We want the same things in life, and have fun, but I'm just not sure..... I'd like to think if we're meant to be, it will work out, but I don't believe in fairy tales anymore. Is it just me - am I just a pen*s pic magnet? I swear I am going to collect them all and make a coffee table book out of it. after almost half a year of having space and time to reflect, not seeing the guy once for all those months...HE calls and says sincerely that he loves you still and would like to be together again.

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 2 years despite the 100 mile distance that separates us. We went on a break for around a month in October and then we got back together, but unfortunately, because of school and work, I haven't seen him since Labor Day weekend in September and we're finally going to see eachother tomorrow and I'm REALLY excited. I live in a small town of around 2,000 people. We have a Sonic and a Dollar General, that's about it. Is there anything we can do that is fun, unique, and romantic that doesn't involve sex? This guy I've been talking to for about 8 months (summer break/car troubles are the reason for the delay) is finally coming over to hang out in my dorm room. it had been awhile for me, and the first time i had sex with my most recent guy - i was in pain for a few days. My doctor said 'tell him next time, you're not a jack-rabbit..' (which was actually pretty damn funny) so, we talked about it and the next time, he warmed me up longer and was more gentle but i was still hurting.

The pain subsided after a few days.

we have now taken a break from sex, but my question is - is he getting too excited? is he still too rough? he is normal size.
