Singles & Dating - 6 November 2006

Please help me. I’m a woman and my girlfriend and I have been together for over 10 years, with the last 2 living apart. The last 2 years have been difficult and heart wrenching for us. She has come to conclusions this last year and wants us to be together and marry. Over the summer, I realized that I’m no longer in love with her the same way I was. She’s my best friend & family and neither one of us have really any family due to tragic situations. She’s devastated and I’m having a hard time being strong. She called off work and isn’t doing well. I feel horrible. I know she deserves to be loved the way she loves. She’s wonderful and all we know is each other. She’s not strong and I don’t know what to do. I’ve already called her twice and I’m worried. Sorry I’m all over the place, but I’m so distraught. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this.

i went ou with this guy and we decide not to see other people, we broke up a couple of days ago and know i found out that he has been seeing his ex for a week!!!! i hate him so much, he really hurt me!!!! i trusted him!!! and then he goes and treats me like that, dont think i will trust another guy ever again, i hate him so much!!!

know i feel really sick, and hurt.... :( Dont know what to do anymore!!! i want to get rid of this feeling and show him what he is missing out on, and what a mistake he made!!! i know thats not very mature, but dont know what else to do!!! i trusted him!!

My gf bf keep in mind we are not kids we are 30 and 35.She let's this damn bum keep her car even though I told her not to do it and she get's a ride home on her lunch break and catch him in the bed with one of our so called friends.Now the thing is I told her when she asked me did I think they were a little to friendly yes I did.Now she asking me what to do,because she's asking him to leve and he won't,he's crying and she's crying and he's telling her he's sorry and he won't do it no more.Our so called friend told her she's a little to late because she's 3 mths by Deon and she's keeping it.Now since he won't leave her house she wants to stay here,but I told her that's her house and she needs to call the police to get his azz out!She told me I'm probably F'in him to.Now what do I do?I don't want her to be mad at me or upset over someone who isn't worth it.Please help!

I've been getting together with a guy who lives a few hours away from me, and the only times we've ever seen each other is when we go out with our mutual friends, who by the way are all guys. He told me he's always likes me, but then he's acting really funny. A couple of nights ago we saw each other again and we ended up sleeping in the same bed, which is the third time it happened, we've never had actual sex and he's never pressurized me to although we did do other things, and i took as this as him really liking me and wanting to wait. The next day though he was ignoring me and acting all cool, is this because his friends were there? His friends tell me that he really really likes me and that he's funny around girls he really likes, and that i should just tell him how i feel, but I'm pretty sure he already knows. We all went out again the next day and he was being really quiet which isn't normal with him. I asked him if he was pissed off with me and he said no, i'm just feeling ill.

I'm kind just writing this question as it comes up.

So here's the thing.

There is this guy that I've kinda sorta liked since we were in high school, I would always flirt him EVERYDAY and it never bothered him at all. We are really good friends, and we have alot in common. Well, we meet again (we go to schools right next to each other) and i've been hanging out with him ALOT lately. At first, I thought I had feelings for him but in reality I don't, I just want to occasional hook-up with him. Has anyone here ever hooked-up with a close friend of their's ? If so, did it become awkward afterwards?

I just don't want to do something stupid that could endanger our friendship.

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

why is it that everytime i get a boyfriend after the first few days i think he is weird and wanna break up with him but when i give them a chance i realize how much i really like them? this happens everytime...but i dont always give them a chance... why do i at first think they are weird but then go back to liking them alot?

ok so i met htis guy online about 3 months ago,
first two months, we would not talk that much... but the last month we've been talking every day...

I a good friend and I really like her, but I don't want to ruin our friendship, but I would love to be with her. Now, we go out all the time and hang out and have a good time. She knows how I feel about her, and she feels the same way about me. But it is like we put it on the back burner when we go out. We hold hands all the time and we dance all the time. Ok so what if you had access to your spouses code to his or her cell phone answer machine. Now what if you guys have a great relationship, they never gave you a reason to think they were cheating. You never caught the person in a lie since you guys been together but you so happen to see them put there code in while they were checking there messages.

Would you (A) Check there messages

or

(B) Forget the code I mean they never gave you a reason to snoop.

or

(C) Keep the code in mind just in case they start to act up but only use the code if things are getting suspicious.

...What would you do?

I like this guy.And I thought he liked me,because he flirted with me alot,and we talked really really long online most of the times, sometime till 3-4 am.So.. I thought i knew him.And he even gave me the heart and kiss signs sometimes as well when I logged off. This isn't quite normal because we're both asians and he's really conservative and everything.However, I never knew for sure if he likes me or not, and for my part, I really really like him.. alot... I'd been keeping my feelings inside for a long time, and suddenly, a few days ago I lost my wits and told him to come meet me and told him that I like him.And during our talk, he said he "liked" me as well..only before and not now.So I was very very down and disappointed.But I was still ok with it.Until I found out from his friend (also mine) that he lied to me and said he liked me just because he was feeling sorry for me...I..seriously don't understand what he's thinking..These days have been the longest days in my life.. help...
